The charger delivers up to PD 65W, 3A to power your battery, smartphone, or camera at a faster rate than standard 1A chargers. It features a built-in USB Type-C cable that measures 47" in length. It features built-in circuit protection such as short circuiting, overcurrent, and overvoltage. It can charge a 98Wh IDX DUO-C98P or ZEN-C98G in approximately 130 minutes.

A: The D-Tap of the IDX System Technology SB-U98 PD Sony BP-U Lithium-Ion Battery (14.4V, 98Wh) will provide a voltage between 11-16.6V, while the USB-C port is PD rated and so will provide 5, 9, 15 or 20V to PD compatible devices and a standard 5V to non-PD USB-C devices.

[0.545 lb] It is the smallest and most adorable V-Mount charger I've ever owned!� Highly recommended!� Only thing is it needs an IEC to power adapter (comes with it), but you can't plug in IEC directly to the unit.� Not a problem at all! 5

[0.545 lb] I don't have a lot of experience with real v-mount chargers, having only used the cheap wall plug chargers with my Switronix batteries. So take this review with a grain of salt. But having had enough of the slo-o-o-w charge times with the wall plugs, I finally looked into the real chargers. As I'm sure you also discovered... they are VERY expensive. So I was worried about the comparatively cheap price of this one. But what can I say? It works great! And according to IDX's website, it's only marginally slower than their more expensive ones. It's also only sequential (not simultaneous charging), but for the price of the simultaneous ones you could buy 2-3 of these! 5

[LED] Used for direct local power for cameras and for charging batteries. Battery charge time is good, unit is compact and solid. I especially like the fuse casing which will come out with a small flat-head screwdriver or the like, much better than my last unit that required removal of 8 screws to get to the fuses... 5

[1] This charger actually charges fairly fast for my IDX 91Wh V-mount Battery. Now I'm sure the IDX charger that has 60W power supply charges faster, but probably not really that much since I've put my 91Wh V-mount battery on those before and it was only about 45 minutes to an hour faster. On average it took 4 hours to charge my battery on my charger and that actually doesn't bother me at all! Great product! Love how it stands too because it eats less space on my desk! 5

[1] Use this with my Sony Betacam Camcorders - for NP batteries. Works great on my old Ni-Cads AND on my new super light Lithium batteries too. It also has enough power to drive the more power hungry camcorders like my D30/PVV3 combo directly. 5
