A: The Watson VW-VBT380 gives you between 2 and 3 hours depending on resolution and bit rate of the recording. You will get less time for recording out of 4k and higher bit rates.

A: The Watson NP-FV100A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack, like any battery, is charged at the factory. Like any battery, you should fully charge it before use.

[0.235 lb] Works as promised, including the battery meter. Will follow-up once I have some field experience. One caution: do not buy this battery if you want to shoot using the viewfinder. This battery is very long and presses hard against your face when you try to use the viewfinder. That's not a minus, just a tradeoff: this battery is for long shoots using the LCD panel. 5

[Lithium-Ion] This battery is an exact replacement for the optional 4 hour battery available from Panasonic. It works exactly as expected and described, and provides a bit over four hours of solid recording time. Takes all the concern about recording 1-2 hour events because I'm confident the power will last, leaving me free to concentrate on making the best video possible. Even better, the price makes it easy to buy two for less than one from the factory. Excellent quality and I highly recommend! 5

[Lithium-Ion] It was a decent price. Time will tell if it is a quality product. So far it works as good as the original Panasonic battery. I haven't measured its battery life, since I don't have a new Panasonic to compare it to. However, it gave a me a couple of hours shooting with plenty to spare which is all I ever needed. 5

[Lithium-Ion] This battery is a 4&1/2 hour battery recording time wise. More than I was anticipating. Adds weight to the back of the camera. Not by a whole lot. Wish I had gotten this a few years ago. 5
