[0.045 lb] I recently bought this and used the microphone both on a major gig and at home. It has a most accurate violin sound, which is incredible considering that it is situated so close to the instrument (you would expect a lot of high frequencies and a thin sound). You don't get any of the room sound, but in combination with my Neumann 184 miking the room, I finally managed to get an accurate violin sound that sounded both focused and full. I would recommend. The only drawback, as with any clip-on, is getting tangled with the cables. But the clip-on itself was very good and easy to use. 5
