A: I would have to say YES. The B.D.s must be removed.The softbox is held in place by two vertical velcro straps, and I don't think there is enough clearance between the top and bottom doors to fit the velcro straps.I am basing this on online information about the light, and the fact I own two of the inflatable barndoors. If removing the barndoors is a quick, no-tools operation, then I'd say go for it. The eggcrate louvers are really more effective than I'd thought, and all together, I'd say getting two LED banks plus the inflatable softbox/eggcrate units save me about 1/2 if not more of my setup time!Good luck!

[Plastic] Works well if you need something light, relatively rugged and flexibly powered: battery or ac adapter. Note: both batteries need to be connected to work. Will not work with a single battery. soft led light with decent very light fabric egg crate. 5

[Plastic] It's actually too bright for my particular use even at minimum output (indicated 2%) because it's mounted very close to my face as a fill light, but it seems fairly uniform and the grid is easy to put on. Display of both brightness and color simultaneously is a plus, and the big on-off switch is easy to find by feel. All in all, I like it, especially since it came with the AC adapter. 5

[Plastic] I have 4 or 5 of these and they are great!!! They don't put out a lot of output, but the beam angles soft and even spread is suuuch a win. The egg crate helps too with controlling the light and manipulating the light as you creatively and technically desire. The ability to navigate the bicolor spectrum is AWESOME for tossing in some fill, or as an edge light on a subject. Again, they give enough output to make a small difference in a big way. They are lightweight, easy to power (AC or with Batteries), and provide enough light to be creative in MANY "accenting" scenarios. It's plastic twist-to- tension lock knob takes some "getting used to" because it doesn't feel "pro" at all. That's the only set back if you aren't expecting a huge KICK of light from the panel. @BKyle_ 5

[90°] Saw these in the deal zone for $80 and ordered two. Very nice ....bright enough for blogging video work. I am used to getting cheap, almost-too-small for the light cases with these and this unit was a pleasant surprise! The case was roomy with slots and velcro holders for the light and places to put the cord....and...........It holds two lights. Both of the lights came with a case, but the case is set up to hold two. (so now I have an extra case. Great Value. Haven't used them yet other than to test them so I can't speak to durability. 5

[Plastic] Got this on sale for $98 and find it to be an excellent value. Full list price, not so much, but it is a powerful and easy to use, light weight soft source for use as an edge/back light or even as a soft key in a pinch. The fact that it comes with the egg crate is a bonus! 5
