  • Administrators are provided with secure management access in a specified VLAN.
  • The switch minimizes network disruptions by automatically detecting and disabling ports that experience link flap events.

  • Static IPv4 routing for up to 32 static routes.
  • Auto-voice VLAN automatically recognizes IP phones and assigns the voice traffic to a dedicated VLAN.
  • A PoE scheduler allows you to define the hours of PoE power being supplied to a group of switch ports, with the ability to select individual days of a week and set reoccurrence on a weekly basis with a start and end date.
  • Create Access Control Lists (ACLs) to filter network traffic according to specified rules, with support for 50 inbound IPv4 and MAC ACLs with up to 480 ACEs.
  • The Instant On 1930 can be managed and deployed as an IPv6 host.
  • Set per-port traffic rate limits based on percentages or packets per second.
  • Dynamic ARP attack protection blocks ARP broadcasts from unauthorized hosts that may be trying to eavesdrop or steal of network data.
  • DHCP snooping provides network security by filtering untrusted DHCP messages.
  • Ports in a port isolation group are restricted from forwarding Layer 2 traffic between ports in that group for enhanced data privacy and security.
  • SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) and TFTP protocols allow for secure file transfers.
  • Create independent primary and secondary software images for backup while upgrading the network.
  • User account management tools allow you to check password strength and more to enhance security.
  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts all HTTP traffic and secures access to the local browser-based management of the switch.

[20 Gb/s ] Our company was moving to a new location and moving to IP Phones. To make life simpler I wanted a POE switch. I always used HP Office Connect SMB switches and these are the successors. The 1960 switch was easy to set up and manage with the associated app. It easily handles the traffic and power needs. I checked other resellers but B&H was the only place that had them in stock. They also had a very competitive price. I was able to order it and get it second day air. Everything went off without a hitch. They will definitely get first shot for any tech purchases I make from now on.

[30 W] Sleeve is Uber Awesome and should been included in the basic access point kit. The weakness of this product is its incredibly poorly written directions. However this makes the installation of the access point much more professional looking and elegant. Highly recommended.

[512 MB] I bought this as a supplement to a 1930 48-Port switch when I realized I was almost out of ports. Setup is super easy and the user interface is great. Setting up a guest network is a breeze. No issues so far.

[14.88 Mpps] I installed 4 of these devices in our community clubhouse. One is connected to our Comcast business router via ethernet cable (as the base), the others synch wirelessly with the base as a mesh network. The devices provide for good WI-FI reception across the entire clubhouse. Their phone app makes it very easy to define the network and setup the devices, and I am not a pro by any means. The hardest part was finding a good spot for the devices to cover all the rooms we have in the building. The phone app tells you if have good/fair/poor signal with an access point and the base, helping you to locate it. I went with the Aruba APs versus others I read about as they have the best features for the price. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

[7.6 lb] Vey easy to set up.
I Was skeptical when I realized it was made by HP, BUT it is well made, packed with features and works well with others. I split some of my security load between this and my new router.

[9216 Bytes] 1 Collect S/Ns before installing. 2 hang the APs on ceiling and connect them over eth to a trunk port with a separate vlan per ssid (like guest, employee, voice, etc). make sure untagged vlan has DHCP services and internet access. Put all APs in same switchport profile. Create an aruba acct, add the S/N manually. Once all are connected, create SSIDs Very easy to setup. Don't have these APs compete with same wifi client area.
