[0.1 lb] I picked up a PowerShot recently and wanted a backup battery. This has proven more than competent for those purposes, and I would not hesitate to run with this all by itself too. My only complaint would be that the orientation markings are printed on the opposite side that Canon batteries are and requires a little more care when putting it on the charger. All in all, for the price it has proven to be a good battery. 5

[Canon NB-3L] I like the Watson LP-E12 battery a lot, it holds as much charge as the Canon batteries. My only slight concern is that the battery seems slightly bigger than the Canon battery so it doesn't immediately slide out of the camera, it requires some maneuvering. Otherwise excellent! 5
