[Metal, Aluminum] My special use: I bought this not used in kitchen. I convert it into lazy bed holder mount which is mounted above the head of my bed just above my pillow.(see photo). Pros: (1) super clamping force: It clamps my iPad mini upside down very securely above my face while I am lying on bed. One clamp end has built-in Spring underneath to enhance clamping force. Both ends of clamps have grooved rubbers for slip falling. Super Safe clamping design is my priority to ensure 'zero accident of falling down' to my face. Falling iPad direct to my face must be catastrophic. (2) Foldable and detachable: The mount holder is also detachable from Aluminum Base. It can be folded up from head to toe into a flat shape ( approximate iPhone box thickness) and put into e.g. backpack. (3) Rotation 360' 5
