Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The current image for this 3-filter kit shows a Hoya HMC Super Circular Polarizing filter and says on the filter, made in Japan. Is this the filter that those of you who purchased recently received? If not, which Hoya CPL did you receive? Thanks!

A: Mine is made in Philippines (all 3)

Q: 2. Will these fit my Nikon D3300 with AF-S 18-55 1:3.5-5.6 GII lens as well as 55-200 1:4-5.6 GII ED lens?

A: Ooops. I should have looked before my first answer. It looks like both of your kit lenses have a 52mm diameter, so these filters will work for both without any adapters needed. My first answer still applies, for anyone who has lenses with various thread diameters.

Q: 3. Would this fit a Fuji 23mm f2 lens?

A: Yes it will!

Q: 4. I have a 55mm lense which takes a 52mm filter ring. my question is, is the threading universal? my camera lense is a Nikon but they don't have lots of filters for it so I am looking at other brands. if its universal and I can use other brands that would be great. second time asking question as it didn't seem to add my question yesterday. website is glitching. thank you

A: Yes, the threading is universal. Always remember to step UP not DOWN to avoid vignetting.

Q: 5. Hello!Could you please tell me if this filter is compatible with this lens: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/892390-REG/Sony_selp1650_16_50mm_F_3_5_5_6_Power_Zoom.htmlThank you!

A: Yes, the Hoya 40.5mm NXT Circular Polarizer is compatible with the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.

Q: 6. Do these filter IR?

A: Hoya ProND EX 3-Filter Kit (77mm) does not filter IR.

Q: 7. will this fit my canon 50mm 1.8 with 52mm front?

A: Yes, they are fully compatible.

Q: 8. Possibly stupid question. Does the circular polarizing filter in this kit rotate? Curious as I'm not sure if they all do that or not.

A: Yes, it does.

Q: 9. Is there any noticeable color casting with this filter?

A: The Hoya alpha II Circular Polarizer Filter doesn't have any noticeable color casting.

Q: 10. Is the circular polarizer included in this kit the same as the Hoya Alpha Circular Polarizer sold separately?

A: We are fairly certain it is a Hoya HMC Circular filter. The Alpha Circular Polarizer costs as much as this set.

[52 mm] This is a very good buy on all three filters together. Hoya filters get very good grades based on cost to benefits. Great protection for my camera lens and makes a great photo much better. Bought these filters with another order and enjoyed expedited shipping. Makes my shopping very easy. Thanks Band H !!

[0.085 lb] Easily rotates, polarizes as it should. Fits on my Canon FD f/1.8 50mm lens perfectly (its for a Canon AE-1 Program. The lens width at the end is actually 52mm... it was confusing trying to figure this out but I am glad I have a polarized filter now.

[Aluminum] This cuts more than the Uv model - and is very good for the price. I live by the sea and also shoot a lot of window displays so a Polarizer is fairly essential. I've used Hoya filters for 30 years on multiple cameras, and they are a quality filter.
