Q: 1. Is it the same dji ronin plate for Ronin original and ronin 2 ?

A: This plate is specifically designed for the DJI Ronin 2, it does not work with the original Ronin as well.

A: The ARRI Bottom Dovetail Plate (12" / 300mm) (B&H# ARK2001589) has seven female threads (each being a steel insert) that run all the way through the plate from the top to the underside. There are also other holes that are present to help to reduce weight.

Q: 3. What is the top threaded connection where the head or camera would be attached?

A: This unit has a 3/8"-16 for attaching a tripod head. It would not be directly compatible with most cameras.

A: The SHAPE ARRI Standard to DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail Adapter (7") was not engineered for compatibility with Manfrotto and they do not guarantee compatibility.

A: The Proaim 19/15mm Baseplate with ARRI-Style Dovetail meets all 15mmLWS/19mm Studio industry standards. So like on all other 19mm Studio base plates, on this baseplate the center to center of the 19mm rods is 104mm.

Q: 8. Will the base of the Kirk TLB-1 be too large for the apex on my Lefoto LS-364C? The apex diameter is quoted at 60 mm, but this includes the protrusions over the leg locks: the circular diameter on which the head or leveling base would sit is closer to 55mm. My concern is that the Kirk TLB-1 will interfere with the leg locks on my tripod, when the legs are adjusted to be horizontal. I'll be using the Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head - so, Kirk Industries recommended the TLB-1 vs the TLB-2. However, if the base of the TLB-1 will be too large for my LS-364C, I guess I'll have to look more closely at one of the Acratech leveling bases...
