The compact 1 RU rackmount unit is only 10" deep and includes an integrated 500GB SATA SSD for storage. Unlimited NDI inputs can be captured via the unit's RJ45 port and one NDI output with vMix.

A: The Switchblade Systems VMC12 Control Panel for vMix and Blackmagic Design ATEM will need to be connected either to a computer (for Vmix control) or to a Blackmagic Switch, via ethernet (IP connection via RJ45 LAN), which could be connected through a local area network, but does not have to be connected to internet to function.

[Analog] I love Vmix! I use the streaming / video mixing software with an HP Laptop and Mevo Start cameras. I connect them using the NDI protocol. I've connected the cameras via ethernet cable as well as wirelessly and the key to great streams is a strong internet connection. The software has a very intuitive, straightforward interface that is easy to use. I use Vmix for my church as well as my own web show, and the results have been impressive to say the least. You can input, titles, graphics, lower thirds, videos, powerpoint presentations etc. Overall, great streaming software that is easy to use and very competitively priced! 5
