[99%] I like the fact that this is 100% acid free paper and has a nice surface, giving the photograph a punchy look. Works perfectly in color or Black and White.

[340 gsm] This comes the closest to my favorite warm tone darkroom paper. Great depth of tone with a slight warm base. I have also used it for color, but love the B&W.

[88%] Fantastic paper that checks a lot of boxes for me. The overall tooth and texture, combined with the non overbearing sheen coating creates a lovely middle-ground for an array of different of densities in images/prints.

[Glossy] Perfect paper for Epson P900 on the Baryta setting. Lovely results with just a subtle sheen.

[9.29 lb] Photo Rag is the best. I love this paper. The glossy textured surface is absolutely gorgeous. B&H has super fast shipping and best availability. It's often not available on other sites but B&H comes through.

[99%] Heavy weight paper; use it to print digital & scanned B&W negatives on a Canon Pixma Pro 10 printer; nice surface & nice tonal range. Packaged extremely well in typical German fashion.

[9.29 lb] I've just started printing with the Photographique II paper and must say it is now my favorite paper. The surface has a beautiful sheen with the slightest texture you can see with sidelight. While I haven't done any technical testing of the paper, the blacks are rich and the color seems slightly more vibrant than some other papers I have used. I use a color-managed process (much like any good printer would do) and I find it comes closer to matching my NEC monitor than anything else I've used thus far (Exhibition Fiber, Innova Fibaprint, Museo, etc. - though these are excellent papers YMMV). I due like Hahnemule Photorag, and highly recommend that as well if you like a more stippled surface. Personally, I prefer the smoother surface or Phgoitographique but may love the Hahnemuhle paper. Whichever you choose, be sure to stick with it for a while to learn what it can and cannot do. I'm still at the beginning of my exploration of the Canson offering, but so far in love.

[88%] Silver gelatin prints are the benchmark for black and white photos due to their longevity and beauty, however if you don't need your prints to last hundreds of years and the beauty of your prints is most important to you, I recommend Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta Glossy Fine Art paper at 315GSM. I find that archival pigment prints on this Hahnemuhle sheet are virtually visibly indistinguishable from Silver Gelatin prints. As far as the cost are concerned an
8 1/2 x 11 Hahnemuhle sheet of paper is less than $2.50, and when the cost of ink is added the total cost of the print is approximately $5 versus Silver gelatin at $60-$70 plus cost for shipping. I am using both processes depending on my final goals.

[1x Paper Roll] Colors really pop with wide gamut but has that old world feel and quality. Very thick (315 GSM). My choice for fine art paper.


My Canon printer seems to have an issue with double profiling from LR and PS so unable to use an ICC profile when printing but can get a good color match by editing based on the soft proof ICC profile and leaving the printing to manage the color output as I do when printing on Canon papers. Also it is worth noting that Hahnemuhle has a profile on their website for this paper and my printer, but Canon has a different profile for this paper and my printer on their website??? On top of that I found my print lab of choice has a totally different profile matched for this paper and their printer which they had custom made for them and even though my printer is completely different it is this profile I found to be the best match for me ; using the soft proof method in LR or PS.
I cannot knock the paper for this as I would experience the same challenges with any non-Canon papers and my printer.
