Designed for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this compact and lightweight lens is an excellent choice for landscape, cityscape, and architectural shooting. Well-suited for travel photography, the lens also features a 5.9" minimum focusing distance for dramatic wide-angle macro shots. Additionally, the lens is engineered with five aperture blades, which create dynamic 10-point sun stars when shooting towards a strong light source.

The lens's optical design incorporates both extra-low dispersion and aspherical elements in order to correct a variety of aberrations and distortions for sharper, clearer image quality and accurate color rendering. Additionally, a Frog Eye Coating has been applied to repel dust and moisture from the front element of the lens to benefit working in trying environmental conditions.

[f/5.6] Took it to Paris, France and Rome, Italy for a short stay. It was the only lens I took. It was perfect for the close quarter shooting in the city. I also tripod mounted it and got great results at night of all the famous tourist locations. 5

[Manual Focus] First off, I'm new to this type of camera. I've only had good but still point and shoot cameras. I bought a Nikon D7200 camera and lens kit, not too impressed with the two lens that came with it. Did a little research and for the money this seemed like a good lens. It's a great lens for what I need it to do. I take landscape mostly and this is very good for that. I set it to infinity and it's amazing how everything is sharp and in focus. Love this lens and camera. 5

This is a wonderful lens for capturing the beauty of the temples, pagodas and mosques of Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. The radiant colors are easily captured with this light and comfortable small lens. Indoor scenes of praying monks come alive. An f 4.0 aperture is highly sufficient. The 2.8 aperture lens is much heavier, and much more expensive. 5
