After taking a few photos and recording some videos of less than 1 minute each, I re-formatted the 32GB MicroSDHC memory card (deleted the entire contents). When I checked Camera mode afterwards, it indicated only 19.578GB remaining. Why isn't there about 32GB available on the card?

A: No card after formatting will show as much space as the card's stated size. This basic computer engineering and has to do with how files are created and controlled. However, losing a 1/3 of capacity is wrong. I am guessing that you may have some protected files still on the card. If not, then try with another card.

Q: 3. Can anyone please explain how to delete an individual still image or video using the camera controls? I know you can delete everything by reformatting the memory card, but what if I just want to delete a few items? Your help would be appreciated.

A: You will need to export files onto a computer via USB to view and delete. This cannot be done in-camera, as there are no camera controls to do so.

Q: 4. What is the current firmware date and code of the camera that ships? Also does the OK button work AND both up/down buttons work? I have two other SJ4000s and they have bad OK buttons and the down button is the OK function. Is this guaranteed to be genuine?

A: You can go to the SJCam website to see the latest version of the firmware. The manufacturer warns that the latest update will not work with fakes and specifically that it will cause problems with the buttons.

A: It does record audio, the audio is decent without the case but muffled inside the case.

A: The exposure is set permanently at Programmed AE. There is no direct manual I have found. You can compensate the exposure for the clip you are doing up or down +/- 2EV as well as have a choice of ISO in AUTO, 100, 200,400. Try AUTO at neutral compensation and see how well that works for you. Probably this is best for scenes of great exposure difference, say on a mountain road or a city with tall buildings. A: The battery is charged while mounted in the camera using the included USB cable attached to a computer or the included AC adapter. A 12v car adapter (separate purchase) can also be used with the cable. A separate battery charging cradle external to the camera as well as additional batteries are available fro B&H.

Q: 8. Does the instruction manual come with this? Mine did not. Also how do i get the buttons on tje waterproof case to feel less resistant when i press them? Is there a way for the camera to be in photo mode instead of video mode automatically?

A: Instruction manual is vague at best, search it on you tube. Camera automatically is on video mode when its turned on. In regards to the waterproof case, the buttons are a little difficult to operate, i found that using less pressure when using them works best. Eventually they become less rigid. Hope this helped..

A: yes it will do fpv but the lag time is much more than a gopro or fpv cam.

Q: 10. Will these mounts be adhesive to a truck dashboard?

A: Should not be a problem. That adhesive will bond well with any clean dry surface.
