A: The battery door for the Panasonic GH6 would not close when using this Bescor DMW-BLK22 Kit.

A: If you mean the Tough TG2, no it is not compatible.

A: Bescor does not list if that the Bescor DMW-BLK22 Dummy Battery with USB Type-C Connector Kit has any limitations. But it might have some just not listed.

Q: 8. I wanted to ask if there is a connector that can convert the female pin/outlet from a 4-pin to a D-pin of barrel pin so that it can be connected to Battery Adapter instead of direct AC. I have looked around and failed to get a connector. Also what is the actual name of the outlet female 4-pin ?

A: The Bescor EP5 Dummy Battery for Select Nikon Cameras is designed specifically for use with the Nikon EH5 AC adapter. There is not an option to change the plug on the above dummy battery cable. The LanParte E15 Battery Dummy Pack is an option that has a female DC barrel connector,

A: Yes, it is compatible with the Z series cameras.

A: Yes, the Bescor Nikon EP5B Dummy Battery with EH5 AC Adapter Kit is compatible with the Nikon D500 DSLR Camera.

[Black] One of the Q&A’s says the Bescor BLS50AC dummy battery adapter kit is not compatible with the Olympus E-PL9. I asked Bescor ( answers@bescor.com ) why the kit is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5/M10, but not the Olympus Pen E PL9, since all three use the same Olympus BLS-50 battery. The response was: “It will work. Your camera just needs to be added to our list.” The Bescor is 8V 3A. The Olympus battery is 7.2V 1175 mAh (1.175A). I did some online research to see if a device built for 7.2V could operate at 8V. One person describing himself as an engineer posted that 7.4V Lithium batteries actually span a 6V to 8.4v voltage range depending on state of charge of the battery. Another “senior electrical engineer” said that because all devices are designed with some voltage tolerance value, a 7.4 volt device means 7.4 volt +/- 1 to 1.5 volts. Still other posts indicated that you can use a 3A power adapter on a 1.5A device. By logical extension, I figured (I don’t actually know) that since the PL9 uses a 7.2 volt battery, it is probably designed to also work at 8 volts, and is also okay running at 3A. Based on the response from Bescor and the Internet voltage and amperage responses, I decided to purchase the Bescor and use it with my PL9. I haven’t seen any sign of overheating or other problems with this setup so far, but will update this review if that changes. I did not deduct points for the need to leave the battery compartment open because I knew that would be the case when I bought it. 5

[7.2 VDC] The power source works perfectly in our Olympus OM-D E-M10 II & III cameras. For the E-M10 II camera you have to leave the battery hatch open, to accommodate the cord, but it still works fine. 5

[1] I bought this for my Panasonic HC-X2 so I wouldn't have to rely on the battery for some indoor stationary shoots. Absolutely no problems using the unit. The plastic casing seems somewhat flimsy compared to the quality of the materials of the camera, but it looks like it can stand up to normal wear and tear. 5

[Black] I needed this to power my D810 and convert my classes to online teaching. Now, I don't have to keep using/charging my batteries to shoot videos; this adapter kit solves the power issue and works exactly as described. My only concern is that the dummy battery seems weakly constructed and potentially could fail. Otherwise, this kit has been a lifesaver! 5

[1] During long astrophotography exposures, really good not to worry about battery life. Works fine, exc the cord exit from the battery compartment is a little too tight. Worried about damaging something when closing. 5
