Introducing the VocoPro SilentPA-IFB-12 One-Way Wireless IFB Communication System, a budget-friendly and versatile option for film production or live and recorded broadcasts. This system offers similar clear sound and long-range capabilities as leading wireless IFB systems, but at a fraction of the cost. The SilentPA-IFB-12 includes two transmitters for the director and stage manager, plus twelve receivers for the crew—with the option to purchase an additional package that can accommodate up to 30 receivers. Multiple transmitters with different frequencies can also be used to send audio to different teams on set.

The SilentPA-IFB operates in the 900 MHz band, free from TV station interference, using UHF technology for improved reliability and range compared to VHF or 2.4 GHz systems. User-friendly and easy to set up, the system allows for easy switching between 16 channels on the receiver or transmitter without any complicated synchronization.

The bodypack transmitter accepts a headset mic, while the bodypack receiver features two dedicated headphone/audio outputs. Both transmitter and receiver are powered via two AA batteries, either alkaline or rechargeable (batteries available separately). The system also has an internal recharge circuit that allows for simultaneous operation and charging of batteries on the bodypack transmitter and receiver via 5V USB charging ports.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will they work with sony uwp transmitters?

A: The IFBlue IFBR1C Bodypack IFB Receiver requires a specific IFB signal transmitted from a compatible Lectrosonics transmitter on the same frequency range and will not work with transmitters from other brands such as Sony.

Q: 2. What distance do these transmit? I need something that will work over a 200 foot distance.

A: In ideal environments, the VocoPro Professional PLL Wireless In-Ear Monitor Package with Transmitter & Receiver might transmit over a 200' distance, but most likely it would be around 100'.

Q: 3. Can you talk and listen on the transmitter at the same time?

A: No it is not an intercom/duplex system.

Q: 4. how many receivers can I use with one transmitter?

A: There is no limit to the amount of receivers usable with The Lectrosonics IFBT4 transmitter.

Q: 5. Will this connect to my individual mic or does it just connect to the system via Wi-Fi?

A: The Shure SE215-CL-Left Side Earphone Kit with IFB Cable is designed to make a hardwired connection to a 3.5mm (1/8") audio output source in the same manner as most other sets of hardwired headphones would connect to a headphone output connection on a device. This unit is not designed to connect to a microphone or connect wirelessly.

Q: 6. Do these come with rechargeable batteries?

A: The VocoPro SilentPA-SEMINAR10 Wireless Audio System with Tabletop Transmitter & 10 Bodypack Receivers (900 MHz Band) BH #VOSILNTPSM10 does not include any batteries.

Q: 7. Is there a Shure brand extension cable for the SE215?

A: Shure does not offer an extension cable for the Shure SE215 Sound-Isolating Stereo Earphones, but you can use a standard 3.5mm TRS female to 3.5mm TRS male extension cable to extend the length of the Shure cable, such as the Hosa Technology Stereo Mini Male to Stereo Mini Female Audio Cable - 10' (B&H # HOSMMSMF10). Additionally, there are Shure cables available in different lengths. The IFB cable is only available in 46" length and the cable that is included with the SE215 earphones is also 46" long, but there is an 64" cable available which is the Shure EAC64CL Earphone Cable with Gold-Plated MMCX Connectors - Clear, 64" (B&H # SHEAC64CL).

Q: 8. Is there a good housing for this if we don't want to rack mount it?

A: The product has a sturdy housing, and doesn't necessarily have to be racked.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the plug on HMa transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics IFBR1B Bodypack IFB Receiver with Charger can receive signal from a Lectrosonics HMa transmitter on the same frequency range set to IFB Mode.

Q: 10. Is this ok to use for bag work? Would the proximity of this transmitter interfere with the receivers, I'm also carrying in my audio bag? Would the LMa model be a better solution?

A: I don't think you have anything to worry about. The systems you are using are about as good as it gets. They are all frequency agile and the system overcomes channel noise by digital encoding and decoding audio in the transmitter and receiver. That being said no wireless can be 100% fool proof. But what you are using is about as close as it gets. Even in the worst case scenario if you had an issue. You can always take a receiver out of your bag and put it in your back pocket. I think you should be fine and the LMa is unnecessary.

[16] Have two running side by side and they work well together. Have used one of them as a one way communication device by plugging in a mic to the XLR connection to coordinate with staff and had little to no interference when behind walls or on the other side of the room. Has plenty of channels and lots of options for quality control of the sound to the receivers by being able to select different channels.

[1] We had to use the Quicktap IFB to make both sides of phone calls come over our PA system via the XLR connection. We had impedance mismatch issues with other products.

[Left Side] I had the same IFB earpiece used be the Secret Service, A friend Presidential detail agent told me who the U.S.S.S buy's from. This is as good and you can select which ear without ordering one for the left or right ear. The ear piece is so comfortable you don't have to pay extra for a molded ear adapter, the universal one's it comes with will never make feel you are wearing it even after 14 hours. Don't blow you $$$ on the cheaper ones, you will spend more buying different ones that don't fit or work as well. 10-4, QSL, 73's.

Remember tr-16 goes with tt-16. B&H make sure you update this products description I coulsnt find anywhere in your description that said this. Have a great day.
