Power both your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and a built-in HDMI to SDI converter with a V-mount battery with this IndiPRO Battery Plate HDMI to SDI Converter 16" Cable V-Mountfrom IndiePRO Tools. An integrated 16" 2-pin cable outputs the battery's power to your Blackmagic Cinema Pocket Camera. An additional D-Tap port provides power to your rig's accessories like secondary monitors or wireless transmitters. Built-in to the battery plate's design is an HDMI to SDI video converter with one HDMI input and two SDI outputs. The converter can support up to 1080p60 video.

A: This will not work with the Sony EX3. The EX3 used the BP-U style battery system, not NP-F style.

A: It'll work, however, you won't be able to connect the power cord into the GH5, as it's meant for the BMPCC4K. It'll work by mounting the battery on the plate, which will, in turn, give power to the dtap port. I would recommend not buying this plate for the GH5, however.

[Connector] I think people who know, know that SDI is a pro connection. I use this flawlessly with my Zacuto Gratical Eye evf. It can also be use in conjunction with the atomos SDI to loop through. I have both. Love them. 5

[V-Mount] Being able to send an SDI signal out of the Zcam means a step up in quality and reliability. I cringe every time I have to insert or remove an HDMI cable from my camera, hoping I'm not causing any damage to the interface. With this unit I am less worried about accidentally knocking the cable out and really doing some damage. The Zcam probably should have come with an SDI interface but now you can have one at a good price. 5

[Connector] When I invested in the BMPCC 6K, like many others, I was disappointed in the battery life. I have several V-mount batteries for lights, and wanted to find an inexpensive way to power the camera. I found this item in an online review, and decided to try it out for the price. The BMPCC 6K is very lightweight, so the V-Mount battery heft isn't as bad. This plate is also super lightweight, mostly because it is made from a thin sheet metal. It isn't machined, or milled out like other camera mounting systems. It does a great job, but it could be a little more sturdy on the rail mounts. I have to fidget with the V-Mount lock sometimes to get it to connect solidly, but once it is in, it won't move. There are 3 diamond shaped holes on the underside, and you can see the thin wires that connect to the external cable. I wish that they were shielded all the way out to the connector. BUT, for the price, you can't beat it. 5

[D-Tap: VDC ] You just plug it in and it works. The best thing is you still retain and HDMI out while adding SDI out. Great for getting video to two separate devices. 5
