A: I to the chance and bought this item. Now, I can answer my own questions:1. This Benro column is an exact fit to the Induro CT313. Do note, however, that this is an aluminum column not carbon fiber.2. There is a threaded hole on the bottom of this column that fits the spring loaded gear hook from the Induro long column.So, this Benro ASC3 lets me lower my tripod below what is possible with the stock (long) original center column.
