[120 V] When I needed to replace a broken light bulb for my Lowell light kit I actually first searched online on Lowell.com and couldn't find any information on what light bulbs were needed to fix it, also the company who sold the lights weren't selling these replacement light bulbs on their website. So when I called B and H the nice gentleman on the phone knew exactly which light bulb I needed for the kit I owned, saving me the trouble of having to figure it out myself. Very good pricing too as it was only $ dollars per bulb, I recommend buying a few so that you'll always be prepared with a back up on set in case your light bulb goes out.

[3200K] I had recently bought a pre-owned budget 1k off a friend who complained that it kept flickering and going out after 10 minutes of use. I got the head for dirt-cheap, and then took it apart to look for any shorts. Couldn't find any. So my next step was to try a replacement bulb, and these Impact lamps were half the price of any others out there, so I figured I wasn't risking much if they didn't solve the issue. Guess what? They totally did. Comparing the filament in these with the one that came with the 1k head, these are much better, very uniform, and after replacing the lamp, I fired up my cheap light, and it burned flicker free for about an hour test, and I celebrated my super-cheap addition to my budget G/E kit. I have yet to see if their life-span lives up to the 100hrs. that I believe is estimated, but for the price, it isn't a problem to order a few and have on hand.

[120 V] I cant describe to you how amazing this light bulb is. It is as bright as a 1000w should be and clocks in right at 120v, the standard. It's a hot bulb in more ways then one. But for real, it is a pretty basic bulb but it works.

[1000 W] Color is good. No complaints.
