A: Though this is boom arm is designed for mounting a microphone, you could adapt it for a camera with a CAMVATE 5/8" Female to 1/4"-20 Male Mic Stand Adapter, BH #CAC0988. An Oben BD-02 Mini Ball Head, BH #OBBD02 woud be a good option to allow for more flexibility of movement for positioning the camera.

These worked great for incorporating traditional tungsten and incandescent lamps into my DMX-controlled lighting workflow. I was able to easily plug a CRMX receiver into the 5-pin DMX port and control these dimmers from my iPad with the Blackout app. They're great for small tungsten and incandescent practical fixtures, which I find look much better than Astera NYX bulbs 9 times out of 10. 5

the only issue is the lights flicker when sliding the sliders. a Pro lighting friend tells me its the lights and not the controller. but is great to adjust all my lights without moving around. 5
