Optimized for demanding uses in professional photography and cinematography, the Exascend 64GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Cardfrom Exascend 64GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Cardlets you quickly record and offload footage, even when working with extreme bitrates, to help ensure there are no dropped frames. This card features a storage capacity of 64GB and utilizes the UHS-II bus to deliver maximum sequential read speeds of 300 MB/s and maximum sequential write speeds of 260 MB/s. Thanks to its V90 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 90 MB/s.

To help facilitate card usage in almost any environment, as well as keeping your content safe, Exascend has built the Essential series with a rugged design that can withstand water, dust, impact, X-rays, magnets, and temperatures ranging from -13 to 185°F. To help protect your data from being accidentally deleted, there is a built-in write protect switch.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and, while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a good card for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II?

A: Yes, this is a good card for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II - especially in Slot 1 which could take advantage of the UHS-II speeds.

Q: 2. Is this card recommended for the Panasonic HC-X1?

A: Though these are UHS-II cards, they would still work quite well in your camera, you could also get away with: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1431034-REG/sandisk_sdsdxxy_128g_ancin_extremepro_sdxc_128gb_card.html

Q: 3. Best cards for Sony a7r3

A: Hi Heber, We have found that the best option for the Sony a7 Series is a V90 card especially if you are planning on shooting video. The ProGrade Digital V60 cards have been tested in those cameras and will work just fine as well. All flash memory slows down over time with multiple write/erase cycles and they need to be sanitized. The V90 card will give you more "headroom" for recording high-res video. We have a white paper about this on our website if you are interested.

Q: 4. Will these cards be compatible with Komodo X

A: The ProGrade Digital 512GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) would not be compatible with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO-X 6K Digital Cinema Camera (Canon RF, Black) as the camera is only compatible with CFexpress 2.0 Type B cards. A good option would be the RED DIGITAL CINEMA 1TB PRO CFexpress 2.0 Type B Memory Card, BH #REPCFE1TB.

Q: 5. Does it work for ProRes 422 HQ in blackmagic pocket 4k?

A: This card is not on Blackmagic's list of approved cards for ProRes 422 HQ. It may still work, but you might not be able to get 4K60 resolutions.

Q: 6. How would these compare to the Lexar 128GB Professional 1800x UHS-II? I am looking for something to use with the GH5 400mbps.

A: The ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card and the Lexar 128GB Professional 1800x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card are both rated V60 for video. For video recording at 400 Mb/s on the Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mirrorless Camera these would perform equally well. The difference would be in photography where the Lexar has a higher write speed potentially offering faster performance.

Q: 7. Does anyone know if this card would work well with the Black Magic Pocket 4K? Would it run into any issues?

A: This should work more than fine with the BMP4K.

Q: 8. Will these cards work with the Fujifilm GFX 100? Thanks.

A: Hi David, Fuji recommends a V90 speed rated card for the GFX-100. This V60 rated card will work but for best performance, especially when capturing video, the ProGrade Digital V90 card is a better choice

Q: 9. Does a 250MB/s memory card have any distinct advantage over a 170MB/s memory card; either for continuous shooting, or downloading photos to a computer?

A: Hi James, Yes, a 250MB/s card does have advantages in shooting stills, capturing video and in downloading content to a computer. Both the read and write speeds are faster on that card than on the card you reference. You are less likely to notice a difference when shooting stills since both cards will likely keep up with the buffer of your camera but if you are shooting video you be able to capture video at the highest resolutions. In your workflow when downloading to your computer you will offload all of your content faster.

Q: 10. Are these v60 cards fast enough for me to shoot 4k footage on my EOS R?

A: Yes, Go for it. But always make a test run before shooting the real thing

[V90] These cards allow my camera to write large RAW images noticeably faster than my other cards, and also transfer pictures to the computer faster with a compatible card reader. Very happy so far (1 month)

[Yes] I want to say it is very fast and reliable, but I have no way of actually testing the speed and reliability other than to say I haven't had any problems. I am disappointed that it has a very short and limited warrantee for a card this expensive. I don't know how long it will last and am considering the Sony Tough cards for their speed and 5 year warrantee.

[UHS-II] I did quite a bit of research on fast SD card for an upcoming trip to Newfoundland. I am very happy with this purchase and feel confident in the card I am taking. It is a nice addition to my collection of SD cards.
