The Astera AX9 PowerPAR Lighting Fixturefrom Astera AX9 PowerPAR Lighting Fixtureis a powerful 3-in-1 light that can be used as a wireless light, an uplight, or a wired PAR light, depending on your needs. Its Titan LED engine is powered by rechargeable batteries and has a 13° beam angle. A CRI rating of 96 ensures accurate color reproduction. Controlling the brightness and color of the light can be achieved in multiple ways, one of which is the onboard OLED display and buttons.

Both wired and wireless DMX connections allow for integration into preexisting communication networks. Bluetooth connectivity makes the light compatible with the AsteraApp for additional features and controls. The included bracket is removable and features a 3/8"-16 thread and 1/2" hole for mounting. Four M6 threads provide additional mounting options when the bracket is detached. Included with the AX9 are two filters for increased control over the light's intensity.

[≥96] Is a very versatile light that comes with a remote control. You can pretty much isolate all of the effects and I'm learning how to change the trips which is to have one affect going. If I wish I would definitely recommend this light great value. 5

[13°] I am so happy that they made this 4 tube softcase. Having four Titans with me has been the perfect amount to take with me onto shoots, and if I do need more I usually then have the budget to rent. I am not a fan of the hardcases that Astera makes, and for many reasons did NOT like the Titan's hardcase. The softbag however still has room for the accessories that I want to take with me like wingplates and chargers, but I can also fit in a Helios tube or two. The weight doesn't become ridiculous with only 4 lights, so it still feels like a quick and easy lightweight kit. 5

[4 x M6 Thread] Pros: - You can actually configure the tube holders on either end in multiple positions to create different shapes/patterns with Astera tubes. - The connection between the tube holders and the wingplate is very snug and secure. - Can be combined with multiple accessories like the astera crossplate, mafer clamps, eye-bolts - Has a section to attach a carabiner for safety Cons: - When you attach a threaded adapter on the back (like the Astera double-ended spigot) there is no locking mechanism to keep it from coming undone. - The Tube Holders that you use with the wingplate are very snug and secure, but also can scratch up the exterior of the lights. (This is a very nitpicky cosmetic issue, not a functional issue) - You need multiple accessories to use this. i.e. the tube holders, the double-ended spigot, the crossplate, mafer clamps, etc. I bought these and showed them to a friend who had bought T-12 holders instead to save money, he bought these the next day. 5
