[5.9 x 4 x 3.9"] Although this unit was made for Sokanoi lights, it is really a nice and useful accessory beyond the intended use.

Although plastic, it is built fairly well. It takes those standard Sony NP batteries everyone seems to have/use. The batteries click into the power sled and are locked in well. The plus is that there is a battery level indicator on the unit. Most non-Sony batteries do not incorporate a built in battery level. The metal clip on the clamp is a standard v-mount, and on the back of the battery sled also features a standard v-mount.

When I say other uses, I wanted a battery sled like this that I can separate from my light. I have Godox ml30bi instruments, and they are well thought out, but the battery sled is only attached to the carry handle of the light. This makes it convenient and portable. But many times I need a light Hollywooded out above the subject on run and gun shooting. I purchased an Impact quick-stick from B&H. It's a light extension pole, made for flash photography to get a flash positioned where you can use it best. The pole works great for small LED lights too! However i didn't want the weight of the Sony style batteries to be so heavy out over people on the end of the pole. With the Sokani Battery adapter, I could place the battery sled at the base of the pole I was holding. I bought the Godox D-Tap DC Male Extension cable, and ran power up to thlight head. In fact, the batteries down on the handle, help offset the weight of the light on the other end. It becomes a win-win situation, and allows me to quickly move about with the light extended above or to one side of the subject as we are shooting. There are several other manufactures of this kind of battery solution, but few are featured at this price point.

[0.995 lb] This is a super easy and versitile light. I zoom often with clients and my previous lighting was casting lots of shadows. No more shadows and easy to set up,

[5.9 x 4 x 3.9"] They also have very supportive customer service. Decent stands. Bought the kit with the included 160 light. While the thing was a good buy, not sure this is the best light to mount in a hot shoe. Pretty heavy. There is a lot of competition in the camera mounted light space. Not unhappy and it does the job, but you could probably shop for something with more value. The case is a well made hard plastic Pelican style. All the pieces come in heavy nylon bags. Not sure the case is needed but it does give one place for all your lights with room for other stuff.

[0.995 lb] I had a chance to use this kit over the weekend, and it's pretty great. Cases: The kit comes in a big rolling case that holds everything. It's soft sided, but with some good protection for the contents. Inside the case is everything in its own soft case. So if you need the entire kit or just a light and a stand you'll have a case to carry your gear. LED500 lights: These lights have a good weight, good feel, and most importantly some really nice light. I didn't see any flickering at all. The yolks let the lights position nicely and hold them secure. I love that I can use the included AC adaptor to power them, or use my own v mount battery pack to run them. I love the aluminum body for how it makes the lights feel nice and sturdy. LED160 light: This little guy is nice too for a small light. Has a Sony NPF battery mount, or it has an AC adaptor as well. The only issue I had here was that the light only seemed to dim to 90% from 100%, didn't seem to go any lower even though the dial says otherwise. This could be a bad light, and I'll be contacting Dracast about it. But it does at least output at full power and looks good doing it. Light Stands: Pretty good light stands. Compared to a cheap softbox kit I got a few years back these stands are much better quality. You'll still want to sandbag a leg with the LED500 on a stand, but you'd probably want to do that anyway. Overall: I really like this kit. The light quality is great, the power options are plenty, and the price was good for everything you get. I'd buy it again, and I'll likely add a LED1000 panel to this kit at some point in the future. Recommended. Side note: This kit doesn't come with the barn doors for the LED500's, but I bought them as well and really like them. They cover the LEDs for protection in the case, give you a slot for a filter, and the barn doors to attach a gel to or to direct your light a little more. They're solid and attach well and hold tight.

[5.9 x 4 x 3.9"] I stated in my previous review the LED160 light didn't dim properly. It turns out when I used the battery Dracast supplied in the kit, and not a knockoff battery I already had, the light functioned properly.

[5.9 x 4 x 3.9"] Now I can mount an Anton Bauer battery to my Dracast LED in a snap. Of which I have many. The adapter is easy to attach/detach so I have the flexibility to use V mount batteries with no adapter, or AB Gold mount batteries with the adapter. I fooled around with ordering a cheaper knock off from China. Bad experience. This works perfectly.

[5.9 x 4 x 3.9"] I needed battery power for a new Aputure 600c ProII. Two of these will give me enough juice for two hours.
