[Aluminum] I reluctantly bought the Vello Adapter only because the Canon Adapters were back ordered. I am using it to mount EF 24-85mm and EF 75-300mm lenses on my EOS R. I have only been using the adapter for about a month. Thus far it has worked perfectly. The build quality seems good. The connection to the camera and lenses is firm and tight. I have had no problems with flares or other optical problems. I am happy! 5

[Aluminum] I'm using the adapter with my New Canon R6 and my old 24-105 and new Tamron 70-200. Everything communicates very well. I have had a few times where somehow the ring clicked out of place. That might have been my fault but when it clicks out, it stays on so you might think everything is fine. When you go to use it, nothing will happen. Don'y panick. Just check twho connections between the camera body and adapter AND the adapter and lens. Make sure it is all secure. Turn the camera back on and you should be good to go. [1/4"-20 Female] I have a couple of these to use the EF lenses on a R series camera. This version does not have the electronic data transfer pins that are incorporated into the official Canon and some more expensive adapters. Absolutely fine when shooting full Manual. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] This adapter allows me to use my Samyang XP 14mm EF lens on my EOS R6 Mk2. I mounted the lens using this adapter, set the camera to release shutter without lens, and was then able to use my favorite astrophotography lens again. I don't know what impact this will have on my aperture settings. 5

[0.56 lb] Better than the competition and it just keeps getting better. Are used it with the canon R6 and it works flawlessly. The control dial on the adapter works without a hitch and I love that I was able to add this feature onto my old EF lenses to be able to change the aperture or whatever you want to send it to. Great little device would highly recommend 5

[0.56 lb] Vello has incredible build quality and as soon as you have this adapter in your hand you will feel weight and solid components that make this adapter a work horse. Now you may hear complaints about no AF but this is a basic adapter that works beautiful with your RF mount accepting EF lenses. The mechanics are solid and smoth and your lenses will be secure. If you are not looking for the electronics than this is a great option at a great price point! [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5

[Canon RF] As long as you don't need autofocus this adapter does it's job great. I've only used Sirui and DZO primes so I can't speak to longer, heavier zoom lenses (that you'd get lens support for anyways) but it's great for the price point. 5
