[Horizontal Only] I plugged in the USB-C connector that is included with the device. Windows 11 found it without having the load any drivers and it was able to read an old burned CD I had. I was able to play a CD and it worked perfectly. I would have preferred a slightly longer USB cable, but I can always get an extender. I will try burning disks next, but I do not anticipate any diffieculties. I would recommend giving this DVD burner a spin! 5

[Horizontal Only] The ZenDrive V1M is a great optical drive. It works great and is very convenient w/ the well designed cord storage feature! The price is only slightly higher than "generic" no name brand drives and worth the investment. Highly Recommended! 5

[Yes] For what it is, it works great but what makes this stand out from other external disk drives is how Asus modernized it. Not exactly a humongous feat to behold but nice that Asus took the time to do so. My last portable one used a splitter and required 2 USB A ports (one for power, one for data) but my new Asus Flow Z13 only has 1 and the rest are USB C. Enter this guy and it just works. Looks great and easy to use. 5
