With a guide number of 190', the Godox MS300-V Studio Flash Monolightfrom Godox MS300-V Studio Flash Monolightis a 5800K flash source that replaces the original 150W halogen lamp model with a 10W LED modeling lamp that draws very little power with great brightness. It features a 0.1 to 1.8 second recycling time with flash durations as short as 1/2000 sec. Power is variable from 1/32 to full power while the 10W LED modeling light is adjustable from 5 to 100%. Triggering options include sync cord, optical, test button, and wireless power control. The MS300-V is ready to run on 110 to 120 VAC mains power. It has a Bowens mount for wide compatibility with optional accessories.

[0.1 to 1.8 Sec ] I have been very pleased with this purchase and it has exceeded my expectations so far. Keep in mind that this is a budget friendly option and not intended for professionals that would require sturdier build quality due to heavy use and frequent transport. In my limited use so far with only one studio light, a large Godox softbox, and reflector, I have been able to get quality light full height for a standing model using 1/8 power. So far the MS300-V seems like a great value for the price point. 5

[Yes] Works great, the optical slave mode works even when the sensor is not in direct line of sight of the flash. Very happy with this purchase. Is so bright, i rarely increase it above the lowest setting. 5

[Yes] this is my first Studio flash, I have used speed light with umbrella before. I was going to have to update my trigger system so I thought I move up to an ac powered system. I don't use flash a lot but when I do I use it heavily. Battery flashes just weren't giving me the power or reliability I needed so I thought I would try this. So far I am impressed and it does everything I need it to do. Very nice case also. 5

[5-Stop Range] I am very quickly falling in love with Godox products. They simply WORK and when you're in a fast-paced environment, functionality, continuity and the ease of both is extremely important. PLEASE MAKE SURE you verify you're getting the correct watt seconds (Ws) for your shoot, but I would absolutely recommend THIS as well as the other Godox products 5

[0.1 to 1.8 Sec ] I bought this light as a back up from some older tank-y lights that get really hot. I wasn't expecting much from this light given the price, but I was shocked at the quality. This is a no brainer purchase for anyone who needs quality flash lighting with not hot modeling light. I used this with the 7' Impact Umbrella and it performed really well for some portraits. I ended up using this as the key light. Check out the sample photo while I was testing lighting. I also captured a photo with the Full Size Spyder Color Checker, so you can see if there is any color shifting. I didn't notice any. These photos are unprocessed out of the EOS R with an RF 24-105 F4 at about 70mm. 5
