[4 S / 14.76 V] For peace of mind, get the gimbal protector and bumpers. After 3 days of short around the property flights I am getting used to the motion controller. I have not crashed it, there is no reason to have a crash unless you are flying carelessly. This is a VERY controllable drone and fun factor is off the charts!

Honestly surprised at out fun the motion controller is. Can get exceptional footage in FPV style right out of the box. Total exhilaration to fly. Love it!

[4 S / 14.76 V] The kit is great and really extends flight time. Nice to have a bag to keep everything in order and safe as well. Definitely a bit pricey but I think it is a must have if you are serious about flying.

[0.425 lb] You will definitely want to purchase this if you plan on doing a lot of flying! I would add two more batteries to the purchase to make use of the entire charger. Do be aware that these batteries DO NOT retain a charge over time, and they don't all charge at the same time. Before you plan on a day of flying, make sure your batteries are fully charged before you go out, or you're going to get half of the flight you bargained on.

[0.425 lb] What kept me from getting into FPV was the need to learn to solder, and repair your drone after a crash, and the ridiculously little amount of time you have from each battery. DJI solved that issue by making a robust drone that can take a pounding while giving you tons of safety features and long battery life, AND great picture quality. I've crashed this thing a bunch of times, even on pavement, and it's still held up.

Highly recommend getting a battery holder since the battery can get ejected in the event of a crash. I use this thing professionally for indoor videos, and the clients have all be more than happy with the video quality.
