This Flame Retardant Velour Background Black 10x15 Liba Fabricsfrom Flame Retardant Velour Background Black 10x15 Liba Fabricsis a 10 x 15' black velour fabric drape commonly used for photoshoots, dividing spaces, special events, and tradeshows. The sides and bottom have serger-finished edges, and the panel has a generous 4" top sleeve for crossbars and support rods.

The velour material is 100% polyester and is woven with a flame retardant yarn to meet NFPA 701 Certification for the lifetime of the fabric. This IFR (Inherently Flame Retardant) velour has a low nap that is easy to spot clean, is very durable, and is machine washable. It can be easily folded for storage.

A: The weight is the density of the black flag. The higher weight block more light.

A: According to Rosco, one gallon of this solution will treat approximately 500 square feet (46.4 square meters) of fabric.

Q: 6. How well would the 9oz work for negative fill compared to the 16oz? Not needing this for cutting, just neg fill.

A: The difference in negative fill between Liba Fabrics 57" 9 oz Duvetyne Roll vs. Liba Fabrics 57" 16 oz Duvetyne Roll is minimal to zero. The negative fill strength comes from the type of surface not thickness, the more matte the material or fabric is the stronger the effect.

A: Yes, the Liba Fabrics 57" x 10 Yards of 16 oz Cotton Duvetyne Roll will allow clean cuts to be made.

Q: 10. What is the coverage for this?

A: Typically around 150 square feet of surface. Although that depends on how porous the material that you are treating is. 150 is a good starting point.....

[Polyester] I bought a roll of the 9oz and a roll of the 16oz as I didn't know how either would perform. I am using the 9oz to hide and cover a few items on a prodution shoot. It worked for me and tears straight. Was easy to pick up in NYC. 5

[1] This is a must for any kit. Most modifiers or practical are reflective or spill all over. I hate having multiple stands with flags. Easy to tape, staple, or clamp duvetyne to control, shape, or absorb light. 5

[Solid Black] We used Rosco Flamex Natural Fiber to flame proof cheesecloth curtains we'd used as walls for a play in the round. Untreated, the cheesecloth burst into flames in seconds with minimal exposure to a lighter. After using the flamex we couldn't get it to catch at all, it just got a bit blackened. 5
