[Green Green] This is much better than the standard lens cap provided by Nikon. It covers the whole of the lens shade thereby protecting it from scratches and dings. It has a slot in the end where you can store the Nikon lens protecting filter if you need to remove it and it is light and easily fits in a pocket. 5

[Green Green] Purchased to help protect the Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM lens and keep dust out when traveling. Note that I had a carbon-fiber lens hood made using a 3D printer for the lens vice the OEM lens hood (at $500 to replace the OEM hood, I do not use it), but the LensCoat Hoodie 2X-Lg. fits both hoods. The 2X-Lg hoodie fits tightly, but is not difficult to install/remove. 5

[Green Green] The Lens hoodie fits nicely on my Canon 300mm iS f2.8 lens. It is much easier to use than the original Canon cover and it looks better. Love it. 5

[Green Green] This is a simple addition for the protection of the front element of the lens. I use this because the provided lens cover no longer fits when the LensCoat cover is installed on the lens. This provides a flexible cover to ensure dust and scratches do not end up on your glass. 5

[Green Green] I purchased the 5.5/6.25 for my 500mm f/4 and it was too small but it fit perfectly on my canon 300mm f/2.8. I purchased the 6.25/7 for the 500mm and it works perfectly. I recommend it. Its much easier to deal with than the lens hood the comes with the Canon. Its light and durable. It has a stiffened pad over the lens to provide a bit more protection. It stretches easily over the hood clamp screw when its stowed backwards on the lens. I find the best way to install it when the hood is on backwards is to install it over the screw first and then pull it over the hood. 5

[Green Green] Based on recommendation from B&H staff, purchased this LensCoat Hoodie for my Sigma EX DG HSM 300mm f2.8. Fits perfectly. Appears sturdy, well-padded, water resistant. Rigid (removable) plastic disk that slips into internal pocket provides extra protection for front element. Slides on over the lens hood when hood is mounted forward or backwards. 5
