The Impact Luxbanx Duo Large Square Softbox 40x40"from Impact Luxbanx Duo Large Square Softbox 40x40"is a versatile 40 x 40" light-shaping tool for strobe, LED, and fluorescent lights. It has a heat-resistant, textured-silver interior so you can use it with quartz lights up to 1500W. When using the Luxbanx Duo with strobes, attach the front diffuser and inner baffle for maximum softening of the output. When using it with hot lights, the inner baffle should be removed. Open face lights can be used as is, but it's recommended that you use the flood setting rather than spot on Fresnel sources. The softbox has four forward-opening vents to dissipate heat. Removing the front and inner diffuser essentially turns the Luxbanx Duo into a large reflector with maximum brightness and contrast.

For additional control, the versatile Luxbanx Duo has an optional fabric grid which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid narrows and concentrates the light's beam forward, controlling spill light and adding directional control to the Luxbanx Duo's attributes. The ample surface area and square shape of the softbox make it ideal for large sets, groups, full length fashion, and large product work. Every Luxbanx comes with a carrying case and a spare Flex Rod. Separate purchase of a speed ring that accommodates your light's mount is required for use. [Silver] I got a secondhand 200w HMI light that gets extremely hot. This softbox does a great job diffusing the light. If you have muscles you’ll be able to break it down otherwise you’ll want to set it up once and leave it. So, start lifting bro if you plan on using it like I do. 5

[Yes] Durable, well-constructed softbox. Inner and outer diffusers work well. Does a good job of transmitting an even, homogenous light. Reasonably easy to assemble. Looks like they used good fabric. 5

[Yes, Removable] I didn't know of this brand and was surprised to see how well crafted it was. The fabric is very high quality and corners are reenforced. They also added an extra rod which is something Chimera doesn't do. Well done! 5

[5 lb] Well made and more rugged than many other softboxes I've used in the past. The carry case is a made of a thick fabric and not some weak nylon like you get with other brands. Most importantly, big beautiful even light is what you will get when you buy this softbox. Make sure you buy, or own a beefy light stand. 5
