[Dynamic] This is a great sounding wireless earphones. I had high expectations from all the reviews, and was worry that it was all hype. Turned out that it does deliver. Even paired with just my phone the sound is pronominal. The sound stage and clarity is on par with overhead and wired headphone. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the best sounding wireless.

[Yes] I am a longstanding Bluetooth user with in-ear headphones. I first used the various Shure devices with Bluetooth adapters, then the Shure Bluetooth adapter and finally the TW1. this is just information as a foundation to my review of the PI7. Bowers and Wilkins has been on my radar for some time as I also own the PX. Finally, I pulled the trigger on the PI7. There were on sale for $298
The sound is far superior to the Shure TW1 (with SE425). this is my comparison as the Shure devices combined were $189 +$299. The Shure TW2 with SE215 is now about $239 but the sound quality is not as good as the PI7. Yes, I have the SE215 as well.
The PI7 has better noise isolation. active canceling. There is no leakage. The room just disappears. The sound is three dimensional in my head. Listening to Ray of Light (Madonna) gives a good range of music as that song has so much production, one can hear it all.
I was debating whether or not to hold out for the next version as the battery power might be better but bought it anyway.
Not sure if I would have bought them for $399, but for $298, yes.
Also note the case acts as a Bluetooth transmitter. The volume needs to be pushed up a bit, but it still transmits. Good for flights. I already used one of these, but the combination means one less thing to carry.

[Yes] So I have the Shanling M8 ($1,650) DAP that I use for music, and normally I use my custom Valkyries ($1,600) and PWAudio cable ($1,000) for portable music, but I work in a clinic where sometimes we are slow, and I was thinking of a TWS for light classical or jazz while I am at work. I really didn't expect much, I have always disliked wireless because of the loss of sound quality. Well... I was delighted and shocked at how great the PI7 sounded! The bass is a little bloated, but it is deep and layered and there is great sub bass...mids and highs are perfect. Using the Hiby app on my M8, and the MSRB function, I cleaned up the bloat, and added some needed coolness....There is a 'pass through' mode that allows in ambient noise, and it was perfect... I tuned it through the app to the exact threshold that blocked out ambient noise, yet low enough if someone spoke to me I would hear them. Noise cancelling function isn't that great. I am not using stock tips, I am using after markets, the stock tips that came with my CL2. The PI7 may not be good for small ears. Excellent build quality, occasional micro drop outs... Secure twist and lock fit.

[Yes] I've owned many types of headphones over the years. Wired as well as wireless. Frankly speaking you get what you pay for, though until now I would be reluctant to say that about wireless/Bluetooth headphones.

If your value the quality of sound over the bells and whistles of other brands then the PI7's will make you smile. It did me!

Now, having said that, and as others have said, ANC, and battery life are more than adequate, but not equal to some other brands. The iPhone app. isn't going to blow you away as it has few tweaks.

But I still insist the sound quality out of these wireless, In-Ear headphones are the very best I've heard. And that is coming from someone that usually uses a desktop amplifier and DAC. No, it doesn't beat them, BT technology is not there yet.

But when I go mobile I don't leave the house without the PI7. They even come in handy when I need to wander around the house, or relax on the deck, or cook in the kitchen.

If you can afford the price, they are well worth the price!

[Cloud Gray] Sound is great, had to factory reset when I got them as sound quantity was poor initially, not many bells and whistles but I really enjoy the sound quality coming out.
I know they were panned by people who tested them but I only use them for listening to music and books and I'm very happy with them.

[USB-C] The search for a higher end true wireless earbud can be daunting to say the least. I have the Shure TW2 with the AONIC4 and SE215 earbuds for the gym and rudimentary activities. As for flights, there is still the issue of the high pitch hiss of the plane. I have the original Bowers and Wilkins PX Headphones and carry them around on the long flights.
I used Ray of Light (Madonna) for testing initially. I can hear virtually everything. I think. All aounnd my head. Reminds me of the quadraphonic days (A long time ago).

Now the present day. I was wishing for a good set of earbud for flights. The party line is for the Bose or Sony In ear TWs.
The clincher for me was the charging case. The charging case acts as a Bluetooth transmitter. It works. The only drawback for me was the charge time which will likely be 4 hours. Maybe a little more. I have not tested that part yet.
The complaints about the sound are that there is no equalizer for the app. So be it. the tuning for the PI7 S2 are just fine for me. Enough bass but not too much. The total sound is all around my head. Totally immersive sound.
Bottom line. I am very happy. The charging case is the clinching factor for me. I decided to step away from all the hype with the other brands. I was suffering from paralysis from analysis. So I just made the purchase.
I did but an outer case for some $12 from i different web vendor so I could house the cables.
