  • Limiter: The new output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the synth’s parameters while providing a maximum of distortion-free dynamics.
  • Streamlined interface: Redesigned from the ground up, the new interface now divides Strum GS-2 into three panels: Play—presents shortcuts to the performance and effect parameters including bypass switches for quick edits; Edit—lets you tweak and create your sound; and FX—supplies equalizer, compressor, multi-effect, and reverb processors for a final sheen.

  • Strum with MIDI loops in 101 musical styles: Use the vast collection of 707 recorded strumming patterns over the chords you play, and find inspiration for your track. Drag and drop the loop to your host sequencer, and make it perfect for your song.
  • Strum on your keyboard: Trigger down and upstrokes, scratches and mutes, or create picking patterns using the arpeggio keys.
  • Articulation and expression: Slide and bend with the pitch wheel or aftertouch. Add vibrato with the modulation wheel. Natural hammer-ons and pull-offs when playing leads.

  • Picks and fingers: Use a pick that is rounded or sharp, stiff or soft. Dig into the strings or use a light touch, or play near the bridge or towards the neck for an evolving tone.
  • String by string: Select material and natural decay for each string. Precise control of coupling and interactions at the bridge breathe life into your tone with beating and organic envelopes.
  • Pickups: Whether they are single-coils or humbuckers, pickups are a fundamental part of the electric guitar sound. They shape the whole instrument’s response, and their multiple configurations give tremendous tone flexibility.
  • Body shopping: The soundboard of a guitar radiates vibrations from the strings. Choose a body size to color the sound with specific resonances and find the right character.
  • Mutes and scratches: As on a real guitar, strings interact with the players hands and frets. Fine tune your rhythm parts and riffs with palm muting, scratches, and hammer-ons.

  • Sound manipulation at the source core
  • Presets load in a flash
  • Super smooth dynamics—no velocity layers
  • Small memory footprint—less than 256 MB of RAM per instance

Q: 1. Hi guys, short woman here. I'm only 5'3 and I have a Glidecam vest, but it's huge on me because I'm super short. Can anyone tell me what the length of the vest is to see if it'll fit my torso properly?

A: Just measured mine - The length of the padded section that will sit against your back is 50cm. The size of the vest is 100% adjustable so I'm confident that you will be able to find a good fit. The height of the shoulder pads can be adjusted up and down to accommodate all shapes and sizes!

Q: 2. Looking to use this whilst riding a motorcycle with a Ronin and dslr. Is it possible to use this without your arms or will the whole thing just bounce around?

A: It will bounce around.

Q: 3. I would love this and I think it would work with my tilta armorman 3.0 but my gimbal ring is 25 mm so what shim could i buy to use with the swivel mount ?

A: You would need 25mm to 30mm shims such as these. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1156243-REG/cinemilled_cm_700_dji_ronin_m_handlebar_shim.html

Q: 4. Can you upgrade to the GS arms later?

A: You are in luck, yes, the original GS can be upgraded with ProArms at a later time.

Q: 5. Will this work with the DJI ronin 2?

A: Yes, if you keep the overall load of the Ronin 2 with camera at or below 30 pounds. The Ronin 2, B&H # DJRONIN2, weighs about 12 pounds and has a 30 pound load capacity. If the total of the Ronin 2 and camera goes over the 30 pound mark, you will need to look in to the Pro Arm Model, B&H # RERIGGSA, which has a 40 pound load capacity.https://bhpho.to/2CSe72b

Q: 6. I am a pretty big guy. Will this vest and support system fit someone who wears an XXL shirt size? I have more size in my shoulders than belly. Thanks.

A: The belt size ranges from 28-44 on the Ready Rig GS. If you normally wear pants within that size range, this should fit fine.

Q: 7. Does the Aktiv8 head work with VCT-14 quick release plate? Old school Sony, has 1/4 and 3/8 screws. How does the pin work with that?

A: Yes, the Sony VCT-14 plate will mount onto the Sachtler's aktiv8 quick release plate. The Sony plate has a series of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ports underneath that are spaced out so that the pin will sit in the 3/8"-16 port when screwing in the 1/4"-20. Apart from that, the aktiv8 main feature is centered around how the head mounts and clamps onto the tripod legs. This is a perfect setup for integrating with a VCT style workflow.

Q: 8. Is this Sachtler combo more compact than Manfrotto's 645 Fast with the 608 head? Thanks.

A: Sachtler Folded Length 26.8" / 68 cm Manfrotto's 645 Folded length 28.7 / 73 cm

Q: 9. How large is the rig, weight and carry bag? Will the airlines allow as a carry on or should I pack it with my checked luggage? I'm female, 5'6 in height and weigh 120lbs. I flying internationally and have three connections. Just wondering about carrying through the airports during connections. Appreciate any info, thanks!

A: The ReadyRig GS weighs 14 pounds and it takes up a decent amount of room. You are going to need to check it in to luggage.

Q: 10. to follow up on my last question, I am also 6'2 tall, if that makes a difference? thanks

A: This rig is adjustable for most any operator. One testimonial is from an operator on the TV series 24 He really liked the Ready Rig and he is 6'3 . a href= https://www.ready-rig.com/product/ready-rig-gs/ target= _blank https://www.ready-rig.com/product/ready-rig-gs//a

[Upgrade] I'm just getting to know the program, and haven't had enough time with it, but the sound samples are fantastic - just what I was looking for.

[Upgrade] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[Guitar] Ive only scratched the surface of Emotional Violins features, but it already has proven useful in two recent projects. It sits well in the mix on top of other orchestra string libraries. It has more than two dozen articulations that gives it a realistic sound. Well done.

[Download] Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful.
