Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can it handle a Nikon 750 with a Nikon 200-500 mm telephoto?

A: For that kit Fotopro X-Go Mini Tripod wouldn't be the most stable. I would recommend getting this mini tripod. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1540119-REG/leofoto_lm_402c_summit_series_carbon.html With this head: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1375175-REG/leofoto_lh_40_low_profile_ball_head.html

Q: 2. Is this the Eagle series tripod & gimbal?

A: Yes, the Fotopro E7 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Gimbal Head is the same as the Eagle E7 tripod.

Q: 3. Is the head interchangeable? Can I remove it to use a different head?

A: Yes, the Fotopro X-go HR Chameleon Tripod has the FPH-52Q ballhead, which can be removed from the tripod.

Q: 4. What is the difference between the Fotopro X-Aircross 3 Video and the Lite Video?

A: The Fotopro X-Aircross 3 Video Carbon Fiber Tripod holds 22 lb vs the 11 lb payload of the lite version.

Q: 5. Is this the same one Rollei rebranded?

A: Visually they look quite similar but based on the specs I do not think they are the same. We do not sell the Rollei mini tripod so we cannot directly compare it with the Fotopro.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with all manfrotto tripods ?

A: The Fotopro Pincer Clamp Smartphone Stand/Tripod Mount Holds & Mounts Phone via 1/4" Screw Hole.

Q: 7. would it work with ipad mini?

A: You can use a Tablet Tripod Adapter to attach to the tripod. Something like this item below for instance. The tripod has a Max Load capacity of 800g. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1487517-REG/ulanzi_0338_u_pad_ipad_holder.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 8. Would this work with a Paralenz and be suitable to use as a grip to hold the Paralenz while diving?

A: This will not hold a Paralenz camera and it is not water rated.

Q: 9. Is the pan arm included in this kit?

A: Yes, the Fotopro E9 Eagle Series Tripod Kit comes with the pan bar.

Q: 10. Is the ball head removable? e.g. can I attach a gimbal head instead?

A: Yes, the ballhead of the Fotopro X-Go tripod is removable. I was able to remove it from one here at the superstore. If you're using this with a wildlife/bird gimbal head, I'd say it would be a little small and not stable enough. If you mean a video gimbal stabilizer instead, I would say this is a strong choice for table tripod for a video gimbal.

[Plastic] I wasn't expecting much but I'm more than satisfied with this little gem. Build quality seems great, perfect for table top or low to the ground. You wont be dissapointed.

[Plastic] works really well for shooting flowers etc. which I do a lot of. Low angle photography is really difficult. Especially when your 77 yrs old and handicapped. This tripod simplifies the process

[0.2 lb] This tripod feels sturdier than most that have this level of flexibility. It's hard to tell how it will stand the test of time but so far so good.
The jaw is tight, but will fit a decently wide phone, you just might have to use a little force. Once in, it holds tight but the padding seems ok to not damage the phone.

The Bluetooth name for pairing is less than descriptive but once paired it works smoothly.

All in all it's easy to set up and take down and generally sticks how you want it to. For me it was definitely worth buying.

[Plastic] It's a shame these are no longer available because this little tripod far exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, functionality is beyond good and I'll get plenty of use from this.

[Plastic] Bought it for the phone/tripod adapter, but the mini-pod looks like it can/will serve in unanticipated situations/functions. It seems sturdy and adaptable, fits my LG V-35 (with the case on) well. Looks like I have a new tool/toy !

[0.2 lb] This thing is small, but it works great. Very lightweight and really small so you'll be more likely to take it with you when you just want to grab your camera for a walk in the park, or a hike or a bike ride.
I got it for a recent trip to Canada, and it easily fit in my small camera bag.
The only downside is you might need to find someone with strong hands to tighten down the ball head if you're using a very heavy / long lens. This is probably not going to be an issue if you're using a reasonably sized lens (600mm or longer might be impacted, but it still will work, I've done it)
