  • The WX9 lavalier microphone delivers a natural sound optimized for speech intelligibility. Its directional, cardioid pickup pattern helps to reject unwanted background sound and feedback, making it ideal for use onstage or in spaces with loud sound reinforcement.
  • The WX7 headset is discreet, stable, and easy to place over either ear. It provides improved clarity and additional protection against feedback when compared to a lavalier mic.

  • The heavy-duty WX5 cable connects your guitar, bass, or other instrument to the bodypack transmitter. The cable is terminated with a 1/4" connector on one end and a TA4F connector on the other.

  • Quick to set up at the press of a button, the frequency-agile receiver autoscans 100 selectable frequencies to locate a clean RF channel that's free from interference and delivers clear audio at a range up to 300'. Just use the Set button to effortlessly sync the receiver with the transmitter via IR, and you're ready to go.
  • The bodypack transmitter is equipped with a TA4M input connector to connect either the lavalier, headset, or guitar cable. It features a volume control to accommodate varying mic and guitar levels. The transmitter provides up to 12 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a battery-level indicator on both the transmitter and receiver so you know when to replace the batteries.
  • Backlit LCD displays on the transmitter and receiver show frequency, mute status, battery life, and more.
  • The receiver's rear-panel connections include a balanced XLR and an unbalanced 1/4" output connector to connect to any mixing board or PA system.
  • The all-metal, half-rack receiver that can be rackmounted in portable flight cases or for permanent installations with the included hardware.

  • Headset and lavalier microphones, plus guitar/instrument cable included
  • Frequency-agile design with 100 switchable frequencies
  • Up to 295' range between transmitter and receiver
  • XLR balanced and 1/4" unbalanced output connectors
  • For setups requiring multiple wireless microphones, up to 20 systems can operate at the same time
  • Rugged, all metal construction
  • Auto scan finds the optimal frequency setting
  • IR sync wirelessly matches transmitter and receiver frequencies
  • Transmitter and receiver feature low battery indicators
  • Transmitter utilizes 2 AA Batteries for over 12 hours of operation
  • Rackmounting hardware and antennal relocation kit included

A: yes it did with Polycom VVX300

Q: 2. Do they come with a case?

A: No

Q: 3. Does this come with the headband and the regular ear piece?

A: Yes, it comes with the wire headband and multiple size ear pieces, as options. It's a great headset.

Q: 4. Do the lavs require phantom power or does the bias voltage from the battery powered body packs suffice?

A: This wireless system uses 2xAA batteries to power the transmitters while the receiver is power by the power supply that it's provided in the box with it, so there's no need for phantom power.

Q: 5. Could this system be used as an audio mic for a battery powered speaker (everse 8)via an car input cable

A: You can use a DC power cable from the receiver of the Nady DW-22 or the Electro-Voice R300, connected to the DC Power Out port on the Electro-Voice Everse 8 speaker.

[<0.5 %] Used these for the first time this weekend... worked flawlessly... but to be fair it was a small stage :) -- but I really appreciated not tripping over a cable any more.

Learned that once the xmtr/rcvr have been sync'd for about 30 seconds they lock so that an inadvertent bump of the xmtr channel-select button does NOT cause it to change channels. Very pleased with that!

[1] The CAD dual wireless system is easy to set up and it sounds great. The handheld mic bodies are made of plastic and are very light weight. Each mic in the dual unit has its own XLR output. Unit comes with mic clips and a cable to connect the summed mix of the two mics to your system.

[Non-Diversity] Great piece of equipment which plugs directly into my Sony FS7 xlr. Great sound minimal editing. Be sure to charge before & after every shoot.

[12 VDC at 1A] Excellent sound quality with no feedback when operating in front of the speakers. Only concern is with replacement availability of the large battery. I don't understand why they had to use a special size. I would recommend this microphone.

[1] I've been using this for teaching for a couple of weeks now and can't find anything to complain about. Sound quality is great, battery life is great. I like having the option of being able to output the two channels separately (balanced outputs) or through a common feed 1/4 or 1/8 unbalanced output.

[Lavalier] I have a 6 piece kit that I am using this microphone set for. I have never used any other drum mics, so I cannot compare it to others. However, I am very satisfied by the quality these mics provide. I am a former professional, but now retired and playing and recording drums as a hobby. For this purpose, these mics are fine.

[510 to 570 MHz ] I work as a Karaoke KJ, for a living, and I have always used hand head, wireless, microphones when I sing, or speak to my singers and audiences. I have used one of your CAD wireless combination hand held and headset mics, and I really like them. So when I saw the wireless headset without the hand held and a smaller rechargable Quarter Inch receiver, ai bought it, mainly because my headset from the other was not working properly. I love it very much, and I am using it all of the time now. It is clear as a bell, and works great for me hands free. Typing and talking and singing works out fantastic!. Thank you, I highly recommend CAD!

[Analog UHF ] I use the mic setup on my 6 piece drum set. The recordings are for my own use only, as a hobbyist. These mics have worked well for me. Their recording quality more than meets my basic needs. I cannot comment on how they compare with other drum mics, since these are the only ones I have ever used. They were very easy to set up. The clip on attachments worked perfectly for me. Although, be aware of the need for some sort of mic stand/attachment for the bass drum mic.
