[Handle] I bought this bag for my JBL PRX 712s. Previously we had been using the Gator 777 bag which was very protective yet very bulky. This bag is much less bulky, the speaker fits in the bag very nicely and it is very easy to lift and transport. I really like the newly designed dual-zipper flap that folds over the handle and fits very securely to the bag with the heavy-duty velcro.

[Handle] The side pocket, situated between the two side straps, is not large enough to accommodate the power cord, but may be useful for small items, like replacement fuses.


However, when the speaker cabinet is placed in the bag with the grill facing the front of the bag, there's room for the power cord and a 25' XLR cable placed on top the speaker. This orientation allows the speaker handle to be facing up, where it can be easily picked up and protects the front grill of the speaker to be facing downward and get dented from placing the bag on the floor.


There is only enough padding to barely protect the cabinet from minor scratches, so i've taken the advice of another reviewer to add 1 foam padding on the bottom of the case to improve protection for the cabinet, but this will not likely prevent damage from drops or careless abuse. This not a road-worthy case, but will do fine if it is used carefully. Zippers are not attached, each work independently. There is no strap, but it is not needed for this size case. Also, with no strap hook on either end, the bag can be place upright on the floor to allow more compact storage options. It will rest on the speaker's bottom where the best position can be obtained.

[2.7 lb] Good price point for both totes, looks very solid, my only issue the long of the holding ties, I prefer shorts to manage the weight of the ZLX 12 bt. The tote fit fine for those speakers.

[Universal] Plenty of space in the case and in the side pocket. �Strong. Wheels are solid. Its not nearly as compact as a QSC tote but I didn't need it to be. �I carry QSC k12.2 speaker and short cables in it.

[Zipper] These bags are well worth the money. I owned an older set (with less padding) and traveled with 15 speakers all over the world with them. Let's just say commercial flights are not exactly delicate when handling your gear. these bags provide more space, more padding, and better maneuverability. The only down side is the amount of padding makes them slightly more bulky -- but I'll deal with that to save my gear.

[Handle] I am very pleased with that case. It arrived last week and I already used it to carry my portable Roland BA-330 PA speaker to a gig last Sunday. I could store all my cables, adapters and even a briefcase with the laptop/audio interface in it. It only has one side pocket, would be great to have another one on the opposite side. It is pretty ample to store a large speaker and offers great protection, two extra foam squares to be used at any place inside the case. The rolling wheels is a great asset too. The zippers are pretty heavy duty. I could fit the case with the speaker in my Honda Civic trunk without issues. Overall - great case and worth the money!!!
