The 31.5" pure RGB stripe OLED panel features over 24 million of self-illuminating pixels that deliver up to 1.07 billion colors, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB gamut. It also features a 0.1 ms GtG response time with a 1 million:1 static contrast ratio and 500 nits peak brightness in HDR mode for true blacks and bright highlights.

Maintain professional level accuracy over the long term with the built-in motorized flip colorimeter, which moves into place when required, even with the display hood is mounted.

Using the built-in motorized colorimeter with the ASUS ProArt calibration software rewrites the look-up table for color tuning and uniformity. It writes and saves color parameter profiles onto the ProArt display's internal scaler IC chip, allowing users to connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications without needing to adjust settings. The saved profiles can be easily activated via the hotkey on the monitor.

In addition to having a built-in colorimeter, ProArt displays are compatible with most major calibrators, including those from X-Rite, Datacolor, and Klein. They also work with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software.

A built-in Auto Brightness Limiter (ABL) feature maximizes power use when displaying a white or bright image in a particular window. The display automatically dims the image as the window size increases. Additionally, the optional Uniform Brightness function in the OSD menu is useful for switching between or changing the size of windows with vastly different contrast levels by keeping brightness levels consistent for comfortable viewing and accurate colors, even after hours of use.

The ProArt Display OLED PA32DC to support multiple HDR formats, including HLG and HDR10. HLG allows users to view and create material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV. HDR10 support ensures compatibility with a multitude of streaming video services and HDR-enabled games.

ASUS ProArt Displays support multiple HDR10 curves, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic to fit your specific needs.

HDR Preview enables a direct camera-to-monitor connection to view captured HDR content with its full tonal range. It also works within most video editing software platforms, providing a streamlined editing experience with accurate simulations of the final output.

The ProArt Display OLED PA32DC includes three HDMI 2.0 ports alongside a DisplayPort 1.4 input and a fully functional USB-C port that can transfer video, data, and up to 65W of power over a single cable with compatible laptops. Four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports can each transfer up to 10 Gb/s to your system with compatible devices. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available. An included clip helps to keep your cables organized.

A wraparound hood helps to reduce reflections from nearby light sources and doesn't interfere with the built-in colorimeter.

Use the included ergonomic stand to rotate the display 90° in either direction to view documents in portrait mode. You can also adjust the height, tilt, and swivel to match your comfort. Using the short stand with the built-in metal carrying handle allows you to quickly bring the monitor to different locations. Using the 100 x 100mm VESA mount pattern allows you to attach the display to a wall, swivel arm, or multi-monitor stand. The 178° viewing angles allow you to see the screen clearly from almost any position.

[16:9] I was looking for a monitor with critical color accuracy (Adobe RGB, sRGB) and am completely happy with this, my second Asus monitor. I have found them to have excellent color and performance for a very reasonable price. I use it every day for creating color accurate graphic design, and it has been very reliable.

[1,000,000:1] Excellent monitor with great colour right out the box. SDR image looks fantastic. HDR is also impressive with the deep blacks and the image does pop. Solid chassis build as well. Would definitely recommend this for any professional.

[16:9] I'm not a professional photographer or graphic artist but I dabble in both fields as an advanced amateur. I have paired this monitor with a Mac Studio, 32GB RAM, 10 Core CPU, 24 Core GPU computer. I couldn't be happier with both the computer and the monitor. Up until this setup I was using the Retina 27 iMac. This setup blows that away. I read a lot about scaling issues with 32 monitors paired with Macs as well as issues with less than crisp type. I have had no issues with either of those with this monitor. I've tried all the resolution settings that the Mac Studio offers me and several of the scaling options worked well for me. The default setting of 3840X2160 resulted in icons and type being too small for my taste. I ultimately settled on 3200X1800. All the type is crisp and clear. Even a 0.1 pt. pencil line in my graphics program (Affinity Designer) when is crisp and clear at 100% as well as 3,000%. I read another reviewers problem with traveling bloom as the mouse moves across a gray or white background. I have no problems with that issue. No traveling bloom on my system. I do notice a very slight change in a white background when I move my head back and forth across the screen as the other reviewer noted. It does not bother me. I rarely move my head in that way when using the monitor so I don't consider it an issue. You may. The only real issue I have, and this seems to be a common problem when pairing anything other than an Apple monitor with an Apple computer, is the lag time when waking up the monitor and/or computer from sleep. I was used to an immediate wakeup with the iMac. This system takes at least 5 seconds to wake up. However, it's not something that would keep me from buying this monitor since I think I would have the same problem with any other external monitor that was not an Apple product. In summary, I think this is great monitor. I would buy it again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

[100 x 100 mm] Having had a LOT of monitors, including one of the first OLED monitors (Dell UP3017Q) and before my last purchase, the UW 49 G9 (that I still have) and the all mighty PG32UQX, I am really in awe after using my PG32UCDM OLED monitor. The colors are the most VIBRANT I've seen in my life, they are full of life, really something to look at and wonder, and having the option to switch to SRGB mode whenever I have to do any critical photo editing is a plus. I love this monitor so much that I no longer lust for the 32 XDR Apple Pro Display.
