Transmit and receive lossless HD video from up to 5000' line of sight with the Teradek Bolt 6 XT MAX 12G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Kit Gold Mountfrom Teradek. The kit includes a wireless Bolt 6 XT MAX 12G-SDI/HDMI transmitter and a wireless Bolt 6 XT MAX 12G-SDI/HDMI receiver that support the new 6 GHz wireless frequency, feature bright OLED displays, Gold mount battery plates on each unit, and can wirelessly receive up to 4K60 video with 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR support.

Other new features include a smaller, lighter design, improved long-range mode, an SDI eye pattern tool, and 50% quieter performance than previous models. The transmitter inputs video over 12G-SDI or HDMI and features 12G-SDI and HDMI loop outputs, and the receiver outputs video via 12G-SDI and HDMI. Though it can transmit visually lossless video to any Bolt 4K series receiver with zero delay using the 5 GHz band, it requires a Bolt 6 device to transmit over the 6 GHz band.

[Yes] I recommend updating firmware before using. The latest firmware is not installed on your new Bolt 6. I could not get the IOS App to recognize the units until I updated the firmware on both units. The units were paired out of box and work fine. The TX is small and light. The RX is also light but if you add the Teradek Gold or V mount battery plates the RX, it gets considerably heavier as they are made of metal. I have ordered the H antennas for this unit which will improve short range connection and stability in demanding situations. Overall, these units are a big improvement over their previous models. It would have been nice if Teradek would have included the tiny hex wrench needed to remove the antennas. Only step up from here is the 12G version at twice the price. 5

[Yes] This is an amazing monitor, chock full of great features. The screen is super-sharp, which gives us a leg up on camera focus, and the focus assist utility is amazing. Having both SDI and HDMI options gives us much needed flexibility, and the onboard SD card recording capability is a huge win. Having both SDI and HDMI I/O is handy and the video signal monitoring functions (Zebra, focus peaking, histogram, false color, etc.) It's inherent color reproduction also seems to be accurate as well as 3D Lut support. 5

[< 0.01 ms] I got my hands on the DJI transmitter and receiver and tested it for a few days. Really ran it's through it's paces and tried to lose signal. It performed very well. However, if I ever wanted to expand my wireless network by renting more receivers, I'd be screwed in my area cause no one has the DJI setup. Teradek's Bolt 6 has been a major upgrade from the previous generations of Teradeks I've used over the years and I really like their build quality. Very solid and the antenna protection is a very nice touch. As long as you aren't trying any funny business with the antenna and keep them propped vertical (unless you change to a few H antenna) it works really well. All in all, I DID obviously go with Teradek but they should be mindful as the DJI setup is great too. But I went with the Teradek because it's proven and expandable with rentals in my area. Picture uploaded is my transmitter on it's maiden voyage on a Sony FX3 build. 5

[< 0.01 ms] Picked up the Bolt 6 LT 750 Tx/Rx combo and needed an extra for the director's monitor. I can toss this on another SmallHD or even soft side it to the back of a giant 60 TV in video village for clients. Perfect addition to my setup for 2024. 5
