The 1.5- to 10-stop, 77mm K&F Concept Nano-D Variable ND Filter 77mm 1.5-10 Stopsfrom K&F Concept Nano-D Variable ND Filter 77mm 1.5-10 Stopsrotates 360° between 1.5 and 10 stops of light reduction. It's made with Japanese AGC optical glass with 24 layers of multicoating. The glass is waterproof and scratch resistant. The filter frame is only 7.4mm thick.

A: Unfortunately this filter does not cut infrared.

Q: 4. Can Osmo Pocket 3 be closed with the filter attached?

A: Yes. The Osmo Pocket 3 can close normally with filter attached but it cannot be placed in the protective case with the filter still attach.

A: Unfortunately no. The K&F Concept Soft Silicone Cap for Variable ND Filters (77mm) will only fit the K&F variable ND 77mm filters.

Q: 7. What material is it made out of?

A: The ring is made of brass.

Q: 8. How does it compare to B+W Vario ND 1-5? What is the front size? B+W's front size is designed at 86mm for less vignette. Even so, I did find vigenette at 24mm on my 24-105 lens. How about the color shifting? B+W is shifting green on 1-3 stops.

A: The front filter thread of this filter is 82mm. Most filters will begin to vignette to some degree at 24mm. Color shift is nearly always present when using variable ND filters, but how much varies between filters.

Q: 9. Will these lens caps fit the 77 & 82MM Monfrotto Xume magnetic filter adapter sets?

A: Unfortunately no. The K&F Concept Soft Silicone Cap for Variable ND Filters (77mm) will only fit the K&F variable ND 77mm filters.

[Glass] This lightweight metal framed filter is well made and functions well. There are other brands of similar filters that cost much more. I have made trial shots with it and I can say that it is a good value and great price. 5

[77 mm] Was a little skeptical at this low price point but the filter is a winner. Super smooth rotating action. Super wide range too. Seems like no degradation in image quality. 5

[Multi Coated] I wanted a decent variable ND filter that wouldn't break the bank. I primarily use this filter for motion blur in long exposure images as well as portraits in sunny conditions using OCF with low aperture settings. I am quite happy with the results. 5

[Multi Coated] This is my second variable filter... much more powerful than the previous (was 1-4 stops). Great for slowing down daylight pictures of waterfalls and streams. Example: 5pm image of Looking glass falls, ISO 100, f8 or so, normally exposes for 1/40 seconds, which is too fast. With this on, I got 15+ second exposures... turned out 2.5 seconds was a good spot for the speed of the falls. 5
