The box is constructed from heavyweight, archival-grade boxboard that has a matte-laminate coating for water resistance. Removing the box top reveals a hinged drop-front panel on the front long side so you can safely insert, remove, or examine contents in the the bottom section of the box.

The metal-reinforced corners of the box top are treated with a black polyester coating and a wax-free polyester finish, to be anti-corrosive. The clamps give rigidness and strength to the box so you can stack multiple boxes on top of each other. The box is PAT passed, which means it is suitable for long-term storage.
