$311.70 $411.44

Take your tremolo and panning effects to exciting new places with the Nano Pulsar Variable-Shape Stereo Tremolo Pedal from Electo-Harmonix. This powerful pedal packs a wealth of possibilities behind an intuitive interface with only a few controls.

The pedal features a single input and a stereo output, and it can be operated in mono or stereo mode for powerful panning effects. The unit offers Triangle or Square Wave modes with a Depth knob to adjust the amount of tremolo effect. Dialing the depth past the 1 o'clock point introduces asymmetric modulation that warps the signal between the positive and negative phase for a host of pulsating effects and textures. Adjust the rate control to get the tremolo/panning in the right pocket or experiment with both the panning and depth controls to achieve ring modulation effects.

Q: 1. Difference between Manfrotto 386BC-1, and Manfrotto 386B-1?

A: The Manfrotto 386BC-1 comes with a 1/4-20" to 3/8-16" thread adapter while the 386B-1 does not. Otherwise, the clamp is the same.

Q: 2. If a piece of software (such as Microsoft Stream video reviewing site, for example) responds to the media playback control keys on a standard computer keyboard, does that mean it should respond to this foot pedal as well?

A: Yes, the X-keys XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal BH #XKMPFP is capable of controlling playback for any application that responds to multimedia commands.

Q: 3. What is the difference between this timer and the 300S? I cant tell a difference. No good way to compare.

A: The GraLab 300x is the 210-250VAC version of the GraLab 300, which operates on 120VAC.

Q: 4. There aren't any pictures showing the bottom of the receiver. Nor description indicating there's a thread to mount the receiver to a stand. The picture does show it mounted to a stand as indicated in the image in use 1 ...Do I need an adapter to mount to my stand or does it have a thread on bottom?

A: I was able to attach the Nano Receiver directly to a stand. On the Nano Receiver, there is a female threaded Brass Insert on the underside that is not shown. There was a brass top on my stand that I removed a plastic cover from and it revealed a threaded stud which I threaded the Nano Receiver to and then attached a Speedlight to the receiver.

Q: 5. Can it be latched to an ON position when you need to talk at length?

A: No. The Whirlwind Micmute PT Push-to-Talk Switch is a momentary switch that does not latch. When the switch is pressed and held down, the Micmute will allow the audio signal to pass through, then mutes the signal as soon as the switch is released. For the latching version, you will want to check out the Whirlwind Micmute PP Push-On/Push-Off Audio Switch (B&H # WHMICMUTEPP). As another option to consider, the Rolls MS111 Mic Switch Latching or Momentary Microphone Mute Switch (B&H # ROMS111) will also work as a latching switch.

Q: 6. Is the pedal mechanically quiet? My present pedal makes a loud clicking sound when stepped on.

A: Yes, the SP-2 is mechanically quiet and construction is solid. It will not create a loud clicking sound when you step on the pedal.

Q: 7. Are the two outlets one normally on and the other one normally off, each switched by the timer?

A: That is exaclty right. the safelight is on and the enlarger turns on and off when the timer is going or you can turn the enlarger on to focus by using the focus switch at the top of the timer.

Q: 8. Hi, This is about the Gralab 300 timer. the one I currently own looks exactly like the one pictured here. It has a volume/on/off control knob on the front. Yet 4 or 5 reviewers said there was no way to control buzzer volume or to turn this feature off. Which is it? Can the buzzer on this current model be set to off? Can the volume be controlled? Does it have the buzzer control knob as shown in the photos? Thanks.

A: We inspected a unit physically at the store and it is exactly as depicted online; there is a physical knob for buzzer volume on the face of the Gralab Model 300 darkroom timer.

[0.74 lb] Yes, this pedal is pretty cool! I particularly like the orchestra and choir voices, though the rest are interesting too. I got it, added it to my pedal board, and tried it out at a gig. Audience members were looking around trying to figure out where all the orchestral sounds were coming from. My bandmates thought it was hilarious that our scrappy garage band suddenly had this new big production sound.

[Silver / Black] Love the sound of electro-harmonix. this provides a great fuzz. I prefer a fuzz over a distortion. this may be my favorite pedal especially with the electro harmonix small stone.

[9.6 VDC] Easy to get classic overdrive and muddy modern tones. Somewhat lead tones can be achieved by pushing mids with a tube overdrive pedal or eq. Great pedal overall.

[30 mA] The Electro Harmonix Platform Compressor is a fantastic stereo compressor pedal that works quite well. It runs on a standard 9-volt pedal power supply that it comes with. I used three of them for a live techno set I was doing. I had a Roland TR-8, Roland TB-3, and Novation Circuit all synced and running together. I had Platform Compressors on the stereo out of each piece of gear and they worked perfectly. They were very reliable but I did have a user error once which I will mention so you can avoid it. The Swell knob got bumped and my attack times began fading in completely throwing off the timing of the TB-3. I couldn't figure out what happened till after my set. So be careful to not hit this knob mid performance. To remedy this possibility, I used electrical tape to hold my knob settings in place after this incident and never had this issue again. The Platform Compressor is fantastic for the money and for the functionality. Stereo compression has never been more convenient with the Platform Compressor.

[Silver / Black] This is the best delay / slap-back echo / mod machine I've ever heard. There are versatile sounds for every need, with responsive controls to dial in the perfect effect. Plus, the secret secondary controls make this even more customizable. The looper is lots of fun, though might be a little difficult to pull off live onstage. Basically, if you're looking for a versatile delay, with some added modular swirly/shimmery sounds and a looper thrown in for good measure, stop reading this and buy this pedal. Just be prepared to sit in front your amp and enjoy exploring the sounds this pedal provides, for hours! Highly recommended!

[Silver / Black] First of all, this pedal has so many features and applications. Four different octaves, attack, and low-pass filter (I don't use the detune much, but others probably would get some mileage out of it), plus a built-in presets footswitch. One note: if you are powering your pedalboard with a dedicated pedal power supply, only certain combinations of power supply and pedals will work if you include the POG2. Do some research online if you already have a pedal power supply or if you will add one in the future. Even though this was a special delivery order and not something that B&H carries in stock, B&H delivered very quickly.

[9.6 VDC] I got the last one in stock (time to reorder, B&H!) and I can see why... the Mel9 pedal adds a completely new vibe to any electric guitar setup. It's very dynamic and responsive, only slightly losing track with very soft notes. Send the dry out to one amp, and the effect out to another (or the sound board) and your sound palette gets very big very quickly. Like everyone else probably did, I immediately dialed in the flute sound and learned Strawberry Fields Forever, but it doesn't stop there. Strings, cello, orchestra and choir sounds are super-fun and very authentic - even down to the warbly tape sound. One thing I'm considering is putting an EQ pedal on Mel9 as its sounds can be a little harsh in the midrange. Dial that back, add some reverb, set the attack and decay at about 1 o'clock, and you have a string pad like keyboard players have always enjoyed - at a fraction of the cost of MIDI guitar synth. Play around with pickup settings too, as the effect sound definitely responds differently to neck vs. bridge pickups. Playing speed is also a factor... most of the sounds take a little time to bloom, so staccato, rapid picking probably won't let the sounds fully develop. But for adding a huge layer and vintage texture to your sound, the Mel9 is where it's at. I can't wait to try it on bass guitar too. This one will be used a lot.

[30 mA] Best chorus I've played. Limited range but sounds so good. The modern 9v plug is a bonus.

[0.74 lb] well, I have dozens of pedals, but this one still amazes me from the first day I bought it. spectacular slow down feature, selectable waveforms, 16-step sequencer, envelope, presets, tap tempo (along with tap-in port), expression support, tons of subdivisions... well, it just does everything, in STEREO, and still it's all analog. can be really as slow and as lighting-ring-mod-like fast as you want: the rate button works like a gear switch for precise adjustments. also, we all know EHX doesn't look good at times, but the visuals we got here are just awesome, sorts of retro spaceship with those leds on top (those don't only look nice, but also an important part of its UI). real candy to look at. there's only one con: the thing isn't small and won't fit small boards, but at least all the controls are visible, no hidden settings etc. Devs at EHX could make it smaller and even save some money on electronic parts, but it's big by design: both features and sounds wise.
