A: they essentially do the exact same thing. Zacuto is known for making premium accessories for camera gear therefore they cost more than Ikan which is typically known as a budget friendly brand. I cant say that one has an advantage over the other because this is a situation where the cable either works or it doesn't work. There is no wrong answer here both products are reliable.

A: Would not recommend this Controller. Unit was replace in less than a year and have had problems as well with replacement unit.

[Download] The ART SLA-1 amp is built like a tank in a slim form format. Even though it has a cooling fan in the back I've never hear the fan at all (or my room is cool enough it doesn't kick-in). My two passive studio monitors are loud and clear! 5

[Download] I've owned this power amp for about 4 years now. I use it for guitar though. I run a small tube amp into a dummy load then into a tube EQ and FX unit and into this amp. I can get the best sounds I have ever had at any volume as the tube amp is cranked up all the time. I'm not sure if the other user has a defective unit or not but I have never even noticed the fan even when I am home alone in my living room and turn the thing on. I've tried a couple of other power amps and this one seemed to have the best clarity and sound but again I am using it for guitar but I will add that I am an extremely picky tone fanatic! 5
