[Raven Black] Thus cage is a bit more than the others but it is for a reason. It is built better tougher and has more holes for customization. I see the person that reviews this item before me gave it one star because the cage shows what it does and they chose not to read the description of the item or look at the photos. The cage does it's job perfectly.

It's also the only one that give doesn't block the left side of the body, so you can use any VND adapter like the Meike, KipperTie Revolva or Breakthrough.

Super easy to assemble and the top handle with the record/stop button is a must for any serious video shooter.

[Raven Black] I love this cage. Been looking for a cage that would provide me a quick conversion from shooting video to shooting photos. I can go straight from the tripod and just pull the camera out to go hand held with no cage but still maintain the arca Swiss plate to put it on my gimbal then slide back into the cage where it can be in the full right, pop it off the rails with the cage for handheld mode in a snap with a quick release. just overall a great flexible system. Good job Kondor Blue!

[Raven Black] Solid build, no wiggle. Looks nice and provides the necessary mounting points and stability for a wide variety of scenarios. Works well with the VR lens too- everything is behind the lens, so no obstructions.

The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there.

[0.065 lb] I decided to go with this one after originally purchasing the non battery grip cage. I really wanted to use my battery grip on my R5 and have two battery in at a time. My only concern here is that it doesn’t seem to allow me to put the clamp because the camera is too long now. It’s a semi big thing for me as I don’t want to be messing up the flimsy micro hdmi on the R5. For that I would give it a 4.5 but there’s no such score.

[Raven Black] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool!

This cage leaves that path open. It additionally is build very solid and the quality is excellent.

[0.065 lb] After breaking my Micro HDMI connector I purchased the cable Clamp. I have not had any issues since.
