Cover your home with fast and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity with the white Pro 6E AX5400 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Gigabit Mesh System. This high-performance 802.11ax mesh Wi-Fi system takes advantage of the less congested 6 GHz band to transfer up to 2402 Mb/s with compatible devices. Combined with the 5 GHz signal and 2.4 GHz frequency, you'll have a total combined bandwidth of 5378 Mb/s, providing smooth 8K video streaming, online gaming, and video chat experiences in addition to supporting multiple smart devices. Comprised of three modules, each of which can be configured as the router or satellite using their auto-sensing ports, this mesh Wi-Fi system provides up to 6000 square feet of coverage. You can further expand Wi-Fi coverage by adding compatible eero Pro 6E devices to the mesh network, providing seamless connectivity as you move across your home.

Located alongside the Gigabit Ethernet port is a 2.5G port that allows you to take advantage of multi-Gig internet connections and devices. The eero Pro 6E also works as a smart home hub with support for over 100 connected devices, allowing you to control Thread and Zigbee devices with your voice via Amazon Alexa enabled devices. You can also quickly configure, manage, and monitor your network using the eero app for iOS and Android.

This tri-band mesh Wi-Fi system can transfer up to 2402 Mb/s on both the 6 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands and 574 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency.

Access to the 160 MHz radio channel enhances the 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequencies, boosting their bandwidth with compatible devices.

Mesh networks use a single network ID, providing you with a smooth and reliable Wi-Fi experience as you travel from room to room while streaming videos, playing games, and more.

This eero Pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi system is designed to provide up to 6000 square feet of coverage for over 100 devices. TrueMesh technology intelligently routes traffic to reduce drop-offs and eliminate dead spots. You can expand coverage by adding additional eero Pro 6E modules.

Each eero Pro 6E module includes a Gigabit Ethernet port alongside a 2.5G port that allows you to take full advantage of multi-Gig internet services and compatible network devices. Both auto-sensing ports can detect whether they're connected to a cable / DSL modem or wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, and smart TVs.

Issue voice commands to manage your network, including setting up parental controls and setting up a guest login, using an Amazon Alexa-compatible device.

With Zigbee compatibility the eero 6+ may be used to connect and control supported lights, plugs, and other devices through Amazon Alexa without having to use a separate smart hub.

Your wireless signal is protected by WPA2 and WPA3 encryption.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the eero app be downloaded to a laptop, or do I have to use my cell?

A: The Eero mobile app is not required for setup, all setup and management can be done from a regular computer.

Q: 2. Do I have to use an app on my phone to set this up? Do I have to pay Amazon a monthly fee to use the app on my phone to make needed changes, or see what's going on with my router? instead of logging into it from my laptop?

A: Yes, you do need the app on a smartphone to set up this eero 6 AX1800 Mesh System Router. No, there is no monthly fee. https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/207937603-How-do-I-set-up-eero-

Q: 3. Can both of these be configured as satellites? The description says "This system consists of two AX6600 6.6Gb/s routers that have the ability to cover up to 5500 square feet of your home, both inside and outside." Which makes me think you can configure as either a satellite or router.

A: Yes, you can configure one as a router and the other one as a mesh node.

Q: 4. Can you use another pro 6E router as a fourth extender or is it just as good to get the 6 extender you referenced? BH #EE6MWFE

A: Yes, you can use an additional eero Pro 6E as a fourth mesh router with the eero Pro 6E AX5400 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Gigabit Mesh System (Router Only, White). Using the eero 6 Mesh Wi-Fi Extender, B&H # EE6MWFE, as a fourth router will work as well, but the unit does not support as much throughput and does not have a 6 GHz band that connected devices could utilize.

Q: 5. Can a wired backhaul connection go thru a switch and still work?

A: Yes, you can setup a wired backhaul connection through a switch.

Q: 6. Will this work in an outside building next to the house?

A: The eero 6 Mesh Wi-Fi Extender BH #EE6MWFE range will vary on the types of walls and the distances involved.

Q: 7. I have a set of IOT devices that only work on 2.4ghz, is it possible to have separate SSIDs or would this not work for that solution?

A: These will not allow for separate SSIDs.

Q: 8. Can this be a wireless mesh and NOT use one as a router? And can both be out of range of the other or is them being able to see each other over WIFI required? I'd provide ethernet to each on the same network, but the distance and walls would not necessarily allow them to reach each other.

A: You should consider using instead the Aruba Instant On AP22 Dual-Band Access Point with 12V Power Adapter (BH #ARAP212V) as access points - they can be connected to wired or wirelessly.

Q: 9. How much power does this device actually consume? The manual says the power supply is 19V 1.75A maximum (33.25W) but actual power consumption could be much less.

A: What you mention for the power supply - is all the information we have available.

Q: 10. I need a 4 piece system. Can I make one router and three satellites by buying 2 packs of two?

A: Yes, all pieces in the ASUS ZenWiFi ET8 AX6600 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Mesh Wi-Fi System can be configured to be a router or satellite.

[5.0 LE] Bought two of these router (the other one using as an extender for now). The 2nd unit I am using it as extender, but has the flexibility of connecting ethernet port for future needs.

[5.0 LE] After working from home permanently, I opted to look into mesh systems (router is downstairs, I'm upstairs in a rowhome). I tried the Orbi first and hated the user experience. It definitely meshed, but the satellite didn't like being connected to devices closest to it (defeating the point of mesh), and the app constantly failed when trying to change settings or check the status.

I finally got tired of it enough, did some more research, and grabbed the eero 6+ and have loved it since we got it. Installation was incredibly easy and the app experience is stellar.

My two favorite things so far are that you can rename devices in the app to help explain those devices with random, unhelpful names to keep track of them. Additionally, my satellite in the upstairs office is actually connecting to the devices that are upstairs! This (for me) means my house devices are actually split about 50/50 and feels like I'm getting actual benefits out of the satellite.

Highly recommend!

[4 GB ] Installed second/satellite unit in my insulated attic with a wired backhaul. On my dock, 195 feet from the unit, still getting 135 Mbps out of a possible 175 Mbps service provided by ISP. Only obstacle is the insulated, asphalt-shingled roofline.

[5.0 LE] if you're looking for a system that can be out of the box and fully functional in 15 minutes, this is it.

after experiencing this system as a user during two separate trips to a vacation rental, i needed a system to replace an older, dysfunctional setup in my boss's house. i picked up this eero base package and a couple of extenders.

literally fifteen minutes to set up an account and get all five pieces up and running. great coverage all over his house now.

easy system management from the intuitive app interface.

what could be better?

[4 GB ] Added this to my euro mesh WiFi system to address an area of the house that was seeker than the rear. It literally took less than 60 seconds to add this to my existing network and have it up and running
