Monitor an indoor or outdoor area with the ACTi Z49 4MP Outdoor Bullet Camera Night Visionfrom ACTi. This unit uses a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS image sensor to capture 2688 x 1520 resolution video at 25 fps. Three adaptive IR LEDs provide up to 164' of night vision. The camera's 2.8-12mm varifocal lens delivers a 102.1 to 30.7° horizontal field of view. A built-in microphone enables the camera to pick up audio. An onboard memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by transferring data and power through a single cable.

This camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP68- and IK10-rated metal enclosure that is suitable for safe outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism.

[Metal] Works great. Had an issue when I put in a larger GB SD card but after a call to tech they talked me through how to use it. Be careful to Not over tighten the plastic jam nut as it will stip easily. 5

[1] After several weeks of research for an ultra wide camera that wouldn't break the bank, I requested a quote and special ordered this one from B&H. Took a bit long to receive, 22 days from order day to DC, as it comes directly from HikVision California, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. I'm using this camera with Blue Iris, so I won't speak about the built in motion detection, masking capabilities and other characteristics of that nature. I rely on Blue Iris for those. Several features that were must haves. Single lens with 180° horizontal field of view, it has built in lens distortion correction, which can be manually disabled. There's a bit of distortion towards the edges of the image, but this is expected. RTSP capable, outdoor, PoE, WDR, and IR. Overall 5 stars, if you're looking for an 180° outdoor cam, definitely take a look at this one. 5
