[Aluminum] This scope is the best scope I ever owned. It's perfect for long-range target shooting as well as for hunting. Use it on my Winchester 70 Alaskan .375 H&H. It's an outstanding scope and I really like the illumination and reticle.

[3 to 12x] Seems like a well built and sturdy device. Great optics and quality of the entire device. Too many extra rails that just add useless weight, not utility. But for some it might be a plus if they want to hang extra bells and whistles that the tool can't accommodate. Anyway, keep in mind this device will add some weight on your tool...
Etched reticle is excellent as well as red/green illumination.

Controls function nicely, even in 10-20° weather

[3 to 12x] I have scopes that range in price from $2000 to $80 and this Konus is a good one for the money. I have it on my Daniel Defense 5.56 with a ½” riser. I have only had a chance to sight it in and shoot paper with it. I am planning on doing night hunting for hogs with it in a couple weeks. I will have to see how it performs then. I have one other Konus scope and it works great as well. The one thing that could be better on both is setting the focus. My higher dollar scopes have an easier method with nobs and such. This scope is clear and the illumination is great. Red and blue. There is a bubble level on the back that lights up as well. It Is a bit bright though for night hunting. Bottom line, if you are looking for a good scope that won’t brake the bank because you spent all of it on your AR, like me, then this is a good choice.

[30 mm] Konus AS-34 2-6X28 Rifle Scope. Very nice scope. Clean clear optics.
Personnally I prefer the Mil Dot reticule. Mounted on an AR with no problems. Quick and easy zero. So far with 100 rounds through the weapon the scope is holding zero perfectly. I have several of the Konuspro 3X9X40 T30 scopes and they are all holding zero. One is on a 6.5 Grendel with 400 rounds fired and no readjustment necessary.

[3 to 12x] This scope is perfect for the kind of close range white tail deer hunting that I do in the North East. Where visibility is usually less than 100yrds amongst the brush where I prefer to hunt. Clarity and brightness of the image is perfect. Plus its a Trijicon, so the build quality is exceptional and very robust. This is my second one of this model. I now have one on my 12 guage rifled slug barrel and 1 on my 50 caliber muzzleloader. Having both weapons with the same high performing optic is very reassuring and familiar whilst in the field. I would recommend this optic to anyone looking for a battery free red dot at 1x and standard duplex reticle at 4x. B&H came through with the best price and fast shipping and great comms.

[30 mm] Overall this a very well designed scope. I was somewhat disappointed that it was made in Japan instead of in Germany. My only complaint with this scope is the windage, elevation and parallax turrets. The windage and elevation turrets lack an easily resettable zero feature. The turret cap must be removed in order to set your zero. The parallex turret lacks yardage markings. There are only rectangular shaped markings on the turret cap. When I contacted Zeiss about this their reply was Just change the setting on the parallax turret until the distortion goes away. IMO this is a very poor design for a riflescope that costs $1250.00. I want yardage indicators with numerical values that make the parallax easy to set. I also want easy reset to zero turrets. Set windage an elevation, lift the turret cap and reposition it to the zero indicator on the turret cap. Easy, except at Zeiss. The glass is exceptionally clear and the images are sharp. Other than the Parallax adjustment and windage and elevation turret adjustments, this is a very nice riflescope.
