The Dracast Barndoors for X Series LED2000 Panelfrom Dracast Barndoors for X Series LED2000 Panelis a modifier with a 4-way design that lets you contour the light output to light the desired area. Simply swing one or more leaves into the path of the beam to light areas that you want illuminated and keep light from areas that you don't want lit.

Q: 1. What would be some average camera settings for LED500 daylight at 6 feet, with an ISO 400? I would think that at 3 feet, it would gain 2 F-stops?

A: I cannot answer that question directly, having no experience in actuatlly taking photographs with our lights, as opposed to just knowing how they work. However, I can tell you that at six feet, a daylight LED500 should be able to produce 1550 Lux, or 144 Fc. Q: 2. Which one is brighter? This X or Silver series? I can see this is newer with different looking LEDs.

A: silver has a bit of a higher output and battery flexibility using a v-mount system.

Q: 3. What is the output of this light?

A: The Kala Plus Series LED3000 RGBWW LED Panel would offer 2668 lux@ 3200K and 2744 lux at 5600K within 3 feet of the subject.

Q: 4. Does this collapse flat? If so, will it fit in case that dracast provides with the 1500 series

A: Yes, this softbox does collapse flat and would fit in the same case as the LED 1500 panel.

Q: 5. How bright is this? While it does show it can be dimmed it doesn't show how bright.

A: This light is 725 lux @ 1m.

Q: 6. Why is the LED 2000 bi-color listed at $999 and the Tungsten one listed at $1,745.63? I cannot find any discernible differences.

A: The pricing ($1,745.63) is incorrect. The correct price as of 10/2022 is $999.00 / ea

Q: 7. What softbox or diffusion plate is recommended for this unit?

A: There are a few different softboxes that will work. The one I would recommend on the top is Dracast Softbox for LED500, B&H # DRSB500 MFR # SB-500.

Q: 8. Does this work with LED2000 Kala panels?

[4.385 lb] We at EffinFunny have been using these lights for a year now, and they are sturdy, durable, easy to use, and you get a ton of flexibility with the bi-color. We had a couple issues with the power supplies that were promptly resolved by Aaron. They are very communicative at dra-cast and work to make sure that you get what you need quickly. They're just nice guys that want to do good work! Refreshing. 5

[4.385 lb] The battery option is a game changer, I was able to do a quick testimonial in a grocery store and not look for a plug. This will make shooting footage easier and most of all Safer. 5

[4.385 lb] I bought the previous version of this light from Dracast directly and had some issues with it. I called the company and after some more issues, I finally got to a person who was very helpful, ha made the situation right and even replaced the faulty unit with this version, which was very generous and great because this light is amazing. It's nearly impossible (and not worth the trouble) to run it off batteries, but it is such a large source, that it creates gorgeous, soft light with some spun in front of it. The micro-shadows are non-existent, the hardware is tough, and the led is far more accurate than guessing at some vague lines on a dial. 5

[4.385 lb] I'm both a professional photographer and cinematographer and I bought this originally for location video work. The output is incredible (My meter reads f-11 at 1/50 of a second at ASA 400 from 4' away.) The large source produces a much more pleasing light than smaller source led's just by the size and I was able to fake a chimera (strobe-based softbox) on it and it looked amazing.The dimming is accurate and flicker-free and the color is near perfect (certainly better than any other LED I have used) It only weights 10 pounds and while it's large, the quality of the light makes it worthwhile for me to take it on location. It's also powerful enough to use for still work, similar to how you would use a kino - but def requires some opal or tough spun to soften. Also their customer service is the best - No complaints! 5
