Q: 3. Will this work with the Kawai ES 120

A: Yes, the Kawai F-10H - Single Damper Pedal for Kawai Digital Pianos will work great with the Kawai ES120 88-Key Portable Digital Piano.

Q: 4. I'm seeing some Q&A here regarding various devices, but here is both a Q and A regarding the Whirlwind Micmute PTD:Does this device pass phantom power, even when muted, so that condenser mics may be used?

A: Phantom will pass as the mute position shorts pins 2 and 3, but the unit is likely to pop when used with phantom. For truly silent switching , use the MicMute PX.

Q: 7. Can this convert a 35mm film camera sdi analog output into a digital SDI output?

A: Only if the film camera has RGB output. I use it for RGB analog Cameras [BRCZ330] and convert the DB15 to BNCs using only the Red, Green and Blue wires.

Q: 8. Can it be latched to an ON position when you need to talk at length?

A: No. The Whirlwind Micmute PT Push-to-Talk Switch is a momentary switch that does not latch. When the switch is pressed and held down, the Micmute will allow the audio signal to pass through, then mutes the signal as soon as the switch is released. For the latching version, you will want to check out the Whirlwind Micmute PP Push-On/Push-Off Audio Switch (B&H # WHMICMUTEPP). As another option to consider, the Rolls MS111 Mic Switch Latching or Momentary Microphone Mute Switch (B&H # ROMS111) will also work as a latching switch.

[1.34 lb] Killer quality and sound. It definitely widens the stereo field a bit. The transformer button wont be for everyone. I tried it on the 2 track and didnt like it, but gave it a go on the bass buss and yeah dude big time.

[Blue] We are using this unit with two wireless lavalier mics used by trainers presenting in hotel ballrooms and consider it a bargain for how much performance improvement it has yielded.

After watching a few YouTube videos I was able to configure some defaults for vocals and then fine tune using the meters and my ears.

We have much better control now and fewer requests to make it louder but also not feed back while the person is standing in front of the PA while also making it not so loud while the presenter is shouting GET READY TO ROCK AND ROLLLLLL! or whatever at the beginning of the event.

[7 x 4.4 x 2.6"] Still messing around with this compressor, Learning the ins and outs and what it can do. [1.34 lb] Best chorus I've played. Limited range but sounds so good. The modern 9v plug is a bonus.

[7 x 4.4 x 2.6"] I had many different sizes of these Polyzip envelopes, but not the 4x9 size. They are nicely made and very inexpensive. I use this size to store anything from small notepads, pens, and whatever else will fit in them. As always the price was the cheapest at B&H and the service, as always was impeccable. Great buy!!!..

[1.34 lb] The Electro Harmonix Platform Compressor is a fantastic stereo compressor pedal that works quite well. It runs on a standard 9-volt pedal power supply that it comes with. I used three of them for a live techno set I was doing. I had a Roland TR-8, Roland TB-3, and Novation Circuit all synced and running together. I had Platform Compressors on the stereo out of each piece of gear and they worked perfectly. They were very reliable but I did have a user error once which I will mention so you can avoid it. The Swell knob got bumped and my attack times began fading in completely throwing off the timing of the TB-3. I couldn't figure out what happened till after my set. So be careful to not hit this knob mid performance. To remedy this possibility, I used electrical tape to hold my knob settings in place after this incident and never had this issue again. The Platform Compressor is fantastic for the money and for the functionality. Stereo compression has never been more convenient with the Platform Compressor.
