A: If it were shiny and smooth then the light it casts would be somewhat similar to that of a parabolic reflector such as the ones found in many flashlights or automobile headlights. As such, it would be much brighter in the center than around the edges. The textured surface reflects the light in many directions and thus provides for a more even beam.

Q: 5. does this fit the Godox Gemini GS200II 200Ws Monolight?

A: The Godox SKII Umbrella Reflector BH #GOSK2 can be used with a GS200II Monolight.

Q: 6. Does it have hole for umbrella?

A: This is a narrow 5" reflector. It does not have a hole for an umbrella but that should not be an issue for most fixtures have a port that this will not interfere with.

[8.1 x 7 x 1.7"] Since I originally purchased this product in order to have an inexpensive way of adapting some current modifiers to my new Bowens-mount equipment and have yet to start chopping them up, I cannot comment on how well they work for my intended purpose. However, I've used them on all my heads, they fit very well, and they are very sturdy. Can't see why they wouldn't work well for anyone. 5

[0.635 lb] Works just fine as a reflector should... needs the red collar/ring to attach to the 200 series flash head, or attaches as is to the 100 series heads. 5

[0.635 lb] When hand-holding an FJ200 using the ProGrip 2 and a small Rapid Switch soft box, I find this much lighter and easier to use combination than the Westcott S-bracket with a Bowens mount ring on the same small Rapid Switch softbox. 5
