The 22 x 28" Archival Mat and Presentation Kit for 17x22" Printfor 17 x 22" Print from Archival Mat and Presentation Kit for 17x22" Printis used for presentation, exhibition, or just to preserve your prints, photographs, or documents. The kit consists of a 4-ply, bright white museum board, which is made of 100% cotton with a 1/8" thick acid-free foam backing board. The archival museum board has a centered, 16 x 21" bevel-cut window that can be hung in a vertical or horizontal orientation. In addition, the kit includes mounting corners to mount your photograph to the foam board and Tyvek tape to hinge both boards together. Once everything has been assembled, you can carefully place your mounted photograph inside the crystal-clear bag with an adhesive closure.

A: The Archival Methods Bright White Pre-Cut Exhibition Mat (11 x 14" Board for 8.5 x 11" Print, 5-Pack) is archival material. The mat is made of 100% cotton fiber that is acid- and lignin-free, and incorporates alkaline or neutral sizing, and the linen tape is a pH-neutral water-activated adhesive.

Q: 5. Are the mounting corners included with this product for mounting the prints on the board?

A: Mounting corners are not included. Look for acid-free mounting corners or linen hinging tape--Lineco is a brand I can recommend that is available from B&H.

A: Yes these would be acid free.

Q: 7. How many mats come in this set? And it comes with bags, backers and front mats for 13x19 photographs correct?

A: No, actually my memory (and I don't believe I bought any in over a year were for 5 x 7 prints. So sorry I can't be of help. They were 8 x 10 mats and i liked them.

Q: 8. What are the dimensions of the print window?

A: The window is 12.5 x18.5 inches. It has to cover the print slightly in order to hold the print in place.

Q: 9. Is the backing board included in the package?

A: Yes, however be sure to know if the image opening on the matte is the right size for your print. You loose about an inch. If you compose full frame there could be a problem.

Q: 10. Is there acid in these boards? If there is, how much of a concern is that to the longevity of a photo attached to it? thanks!

[1.1 lb] Perfectly packaged so that it arrived all the way to New Zealand without any dings = thanks B&H. Gave me the confidence to order additional mat products. Works great for me with a 12x18 print on 13x19 paper, as gives a nice border. You can tweak the print area a touch large for a signature, or alternatively print borderless - of course matching paper white toning when using a border. This mat cutout size gives that flexibility. 5

[1.1 lb] I am a member of several camera clubs. Each month we have friendly competitions. The requirements include having the image matted. These archival mats look very professional. They are easy to use and, if I want to (which I don't often) I can reuse them. Using this product is so much easier than cutting form core board, using the dry mount and then cutting the mat, particularly for submissions like for the camera clubs. 5
