The 43mm Slim Circular Polarizer Filter Multicoatedfrom 43mm Slim Circular Polarizer Filter Multicoatedreduces reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. A polarizing filter arranges and filters this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light, resulting in a reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.

This filter is constructed from optical glass for high resolution and color fidelity and has eight layers of nano-multicoating on each glass surface to prevent internal ghosting and reflections and optimize light transmission. The surface is also water resistant for easy cleaning and for use in inclement environments and locations. It features a slim, 5mm-wide aluminum alloy filter ring, so it can be used with ultra-wide-angle lenses without vignetting. The filter ring can be rotated to adjust the intensity of the polarization effect and has a 43mm front thread for adding additional filters, lens hoods, or other lens accessories.

Q: 1. what is the difference between BH #BWCPHTM77 • MFR #66-1101634 and BH #BWCPHTM5077 • MFR #66-1108017 ?

A: The 2 filters are exactly the same except the BWCPHTM5077 is a limited edition that says "B&H Photo. Limited Edition. 50th Anniversary. 1973 - 2023.

Q: 2. Will this fit tiffen 49 to 55 step ring?

A: Yes it would. The second number in step-up ring designations always comment on the filter size, the first number is always regarding the lens' thread size.

Q: 3. Will this filter fit the sigma 18-200mm DC OS HSM lens for Canon EOS cameras?

A: Yes, the Tiffen 62mm Circular Polarizing filter will fit the Sigma 18-200mm for Canon EOS.

Q: 4. will this fit sigma 150-500 mm lens?

A: Yes, I have a Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 Lens. The Tiffen 86C mm Circular Polarizar Filter fits without any problem. From the picture included, my filter has a short round extension to use for rotating the filter. This can be unscrewed from the filter if it is an individuals preference. Hope this answers your question.

A: All B+W MRC Multiresistant Nano Coating are weather seal and anti scratch glass.

Q: 6. Will it works with Benro Master Series 100mm Filter Holder?

A: Unfortunately, the B+W High-Transmission MRC-Nano Master Circular Polarizer Filter (82mm) has not been tested in the Benro Master Series 100mm Filter Holder, so we cannot say it will work 100%, but since it is a slim filter and 82mm filter it should work.

Q: 7. I will be using this on a Nikkor 200 - 500mm lens. Will it affect the autofocus any?

A: The B+W High-Transmission MRC-Nano Master Circular Polarizer Filter (95mm) will not affect the focus speed.

Q: 8. Is this filter stackable?

A: Yes, you can stack B+W High-Transmission MRC-Nano Master Circular Polarizer Filter with another filter, but stacking rotating filters may be hard to separate when taking off the lens, consider getting https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1407950-REG/sensei_48_55mm_rubberized_filter_wrench.html Rubberized Filter Wrench of appropriate size.

[0.115 lb] Doesn't block the lens at all, nice and short for no barrel affect. Inexpensive.

[Glass] I have always used Tiffen and they are excellent filters. The Heliopan is simply a better piece of glass and you can see it in the photographs. The results of course, not the filter. I also like to use Singh-Ray filters and either way my Nikon glass deserves the best. So do you.

[43 mm] Purchased it for my Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon T* ZE Lens. Works great with no apparent vignetting, so is a good alternative to the more costly Zeiss polarizer alternative for that lens.

[0.115 lb] I got this to pair with a Tokina 14-20mm f/2.0 EF-S lens. It does a great job and the lens sharpness doesn't suffer noticeably from the extra glass. One downside is that if there is a strong light source like the sun in the frame, it causes some nasty circular flares in the image, but this is a problem with every other filter I've used as well, so I'm not sure I'd ding it a star for that.

[0.115 lb] Product met my expectations for a circular polarizing filter. I particularly like the slim design which avoids vignetting in the corners.

[Glass] I'm honestly surprised at how good this Polarizer is for the money. No discernible color shift or noticeable sharpness loss on my copy and it just does what it's says it's supposed to.

[Glass] The saying is really true YOu get what you pay for. I used it for landscape photography. It does not really degrade the lights and it makes more saturation in my photo.
