[Black] Very comfortable. Have used it numerous times. Almost seems like an extension of my body which is very helpful when in a crowded news event. Very sturdy, even using my heaviest lens which did not swing back and forth but rested right on my hip for easy use. Raises and lowers with no problem. Love the attached zipper pocket which is perfect for carrying an extra battery or memory card.

[Black] I purchased this camera for a specific task.....photographing items for inclusion in a digital library. It works perfectly for that task, but I have discovered so many more uses for it, too!


This product is well worth the investment for use in a library setting!

[Black] It's a nice camera strap to free the photographer from the bag if you just walk around and take some shots. i firstly suspect whether it can take the heavy lens and camera body. Actually it does work well with my sigma 100-400mm lens and sony a6400 body.

[Black] With virtual learning, we teachers had to become very creative. As an art teacher, having a camera that would show clarity and could record in high resolution was a must. I continue to use the Solo 8 to record drawing and painting demonstrations. I can record with audio, or without, and import into any video editing software to do voice-overs and add music. This document camera is solid, it is built very sturdy, it does not feel cheap like the two other cheaper cameras I purchased at the beginning of the pandemic that was both glitchy and compressed video causing pixelated images the students just could not see at home. The school purchased one for me and I ended up buying one for myself to record tutorials at home. Definitely, a must-have.

[Black] This is one of the most widely used shock mounts by professional sound mixers in the film and video industry. Its light weight makes it a favorite for boom operators. The flexibility of the mount gives it superior isolation from handling noise. It is ideal for light weight microphones with a foam windscreen, A K6/ME66 will work fine although at 12.5 it is probably the longest usable mic. The rubber rings are very durable when used properly. Professional users double-twist them before inserting the microphone. Without that double-twist it is a bit loosey goosey. It is not suitable for a long shotgun (there is a large model for that) or use with a heavy outdoor windscreen. In that case a stiffer mount (with less noise isolation) is necessary.
